Better than a QB who says he really doesn't need to do all of that because his natural gifts are enough.

qb's that move into the facility during the offseason is what you wanna see - beck isn't back in his home town working on his craft with some new age program we've never heard of

instead he's completely immersed himself with the playbook and staff - with a new offense mind you - meaning he has the perfect reasons to text lafleur on the regular

beck's not stupid - he saw what brissett did - he knows we strengthened the o-line and scored the loveliest running back in the draft

sounds to me like carson beck is chomping at the bit and the organization sees it - im starting to think there's a small chance he's our day 1

It's simply a matter of expectations for me. I like it from Beck given where he was taken, and didn't like it from Rosen given he was a "savior". I somehow believe him, whereas JR essentially lost me with the "9 mistakes" comment.

Agreed. If no Jacoby, I still think he's starting by week 4, with Minshew getting the nod just so Beck can hopefully watch and see how the offense is supposed to work. If Jacoby comes back, I think Beck is starting by week 8 or 9.
