Halibut are such cool fish. When I worked in Alaska, I’d see them up to 300 pounds! We had to use a mini crane to move them around and glaze them.

whats for dinner??

I went with redneck ramen tonight...last night,...whatever...

seared some stew meat in the cast iron skillet...
then tossed it in the slow cooker/crockpot for a while... tossed in a couple cut up carrots and a sorta chopped white onion... poured in some garlic and other flavor additives...
then later I threw in a pack of those shoestring noodles.... Linguini is it??

so yeah...redneck ramen... noodles, with huge chunks of beef...chunks of carrots...onions...all slow simmered for a couple hours in a semi thick beef base.

it was edible Im tellin ya...even kinda tasty

was kinda a spontaneous meal... didnt feel like cooking... but had some crap that needed cooking....beef been out of the freezer for a few days or more...noodles been in the fridge two weeks...carrots and onion getting a bit rubbery...

so screw it...cook it all together...a good beef base and ample garlic makes anything a meal
