He's going to have so many wide open guys that he won't be able to see them all!
It will be crystle clear......until they snap the ball
But playing in a closed stadium will help tremendously.....Oh, wait...

I lived in Minnesota until I was 6, snow flakes are bigger than Murray...of course, I was just 6, but I was tall for my age ;)

I guess because I'm a Cards fan my FB feed is full of Murray stuff now, reels etc. the one thing that caught my eye was Kyler apparently said his arm is stronger he kind of admitted he had the issue with his arm after Covid and then an injury and a "dead arm" in camp one year but said his arm is all the way back now.

One of the videos was showing side by side throws by him and McCarthy the one obvious thing, JJ is in his 3rd year( missed rookie year due to injury) and he still hasn't gotten rid of that bad habit of patting the football before he throws. Kyler has always had weird mechanics, throws leaning back, off one foot etc but when you watch the clips of the 2 of them in camp JJ is the one that leaves you wondering how a kid could have had a private QB coach in HS, and college, and play for a QB guru in the NFL for this long and still look as bad mechanically as McCarthy does?

I guess we'll see but the early indications are Murray is going to easily win that QB job

Understood. Russ assuming K1 does win the starting job what is your prediction for his performance this year?

lol

K1 never went 1-11 and anyone try to sell stats to the board.

You people are hilarious
Don't move the goal posts. You went mad dog on anyone dogging KM for garbage time stats. But now you dog the QB we do have for garbage time stats. But we already know the favoritism you hold in your heart :)

If healthy I think he likely has career highs in passing yards and TD's, as he said they are absolutely stacked at WR etc, Jefferson, Addison, Jennings and Hockenson

I figure he'll top 4000 for the first time and likely get to 30 TD's for the first time. But I guess there's a big if the Kyler we saw last year was so risk aversive it's not clear if that's the Kyler this year or not.

So I guess if I had to throw something out there if he plays the whole season 4200 yards 30 TD's 12 picks, 600 yards rushing? Note I'm not saying Kyler is suddenly going to be great just that with those receivers he's probably putting up career highs

Well yeah obviously
I know it's because we're paying him too but they are only paying him 1.3 million on a 1 year show me contract. He's listed as the starter on their depth chart right now not sure if that's official.

O'Connell said there was going to be a true competition but my guess is he was just trying to make McCarthy feel better.

98.7 spent years ragging on Kyler to only defend him in this McCarthy thing. Said Kyler comes off as the mature guy while JJ is basically trying to divide the locker room

I think Kyler "could" have had a great football career. But, unfortunately, his lack of height is what will be his Achilles heel. Of course, he looks good in OTAs....THERE'S NOBODY COMING TO KILL HIM. The first couple of games he will look good because it's now the "starters" preseason games. But There Will be Blood....and a whole lot sooner than that stupid movie....

LOL

K1 won plenty of games for the Cards.

He carried them. The new guy couldn’t carry water from the Hoover Dam.

Still avoiding the conversation. Thank you for tacitly admitting your flip flopping on garbage time stats.

Also, huh? Kyler CARRIED the Cards? You out your damn mind lol

remind us how many of those were playoffs games - carried us into mediocrity and draft purgatory - quitter
Again this is the Cardinals they are a horrible franchise that fails almost everyone that comes in contact with it. I won’t ever fault K1 for not getting back to the playoffs.

Just look at the current situation and what is happening without him. Total train wreck in terms of just the slight ability to look even competent.

Zero flip flopping. You can’t point out your argument and how they are related to 1-11 Brissett even though you say they are the same.

It’s a laughable premise. You waned where we are at so wallow in it my man.

We can look back through the recent posts, but don't need to. You were jeering and mocking JB for garbage time stats. I pointed out how you used to go ballistic when people talked about KM's garbage time stats. Simple, straightforward hypocrisy. In refusing to respond, you continue to talk about records when that was never the point.

So, can you defend the flip flopping while staying on topic? You've already failed to deflect several times. Try again.

During garbage time, just say during garbage time.

Everyone knows including the Cards which are hanging him out to dry.

Why are you people defending this dude like he has done something.

He is 20-45 as a starter.

Dear lord he is not worth you burning your football credibility.

Says the guy who's been defending K1 like he's the 2nd coming of Tom Brady for 37 pages now...

I would add if people think that's crazy look at what happened with Sam Darnold. 35 TD's over 4000 yards passing. didn't get the rushing stats but he's not the runner Kyler is anyways.

Minnesota is absolutely stacked at WR, and they have a QB friendly offense. If Kyler plays a full season he's very likely putting up career best stats. If the Kyler we saw last year is he guy he won't play the full year, they'll bench him.

Lot of weight being put on a 7 game stretch that took place 5 years ago.

Outside of that he's been mediocre or bad far more often than he's been good.
Falls right inline for elite QBs the Cards have had.

About every 7 years this pathetic franchise catches lightning in a bottle with a QB.

Warner
Carson
Murray

Who is next is the question.
