Is this a reach for Beck? It is, based on predraft rankings of him, but the Cardinals are in quarterback purgatory and need to take swings to find a capable starter. Beck's excellent play in the College Football Playoff changed the narrative on him, and there are believers around the NFL in his ability as a future starter.

34 for Beck is a reach… the only way the Cardinals would need to do that would be if they were really set on him and knew he was getting picked before they can come back around and later rounds

Not our biggest need and coming off a big injury, but Jermond McCoy could be a major value pick at 34

He is a good player when healthy and would fit how Monti likes to gamble on players who are “fallers” from round 1. Not my cup of tea with this roster but who knows.

I can't recall ever seeing Travis Burke's name before and I've done hundreds of mock draft simulations.

NFL.com's guy has him as a round 3-4 projection.
NFL Draft Buzz 6th round.
PFSN #216 overall.

Baldinger said the Giants taking Reese not only surprised him it surprised lots of NFL insiders. they all thought the Giants were taking Downs. Said there were rumors before the Jets were Bailey or Reese but he said most of the people I talk to or know had Bailey clearly ahead of Reese and didn't have Reese as high as all the mocks did he didn't say where he thought Reese should have gone but 5 surprised him.
