I voted a C. I loved the first 2 picks. But I was pretty meh on the rest. We didn't get better at the CB postion by trading our number 2 corner for a 3rd string QB and then drafting a CB that didn't play football last year, as well as drafting a OLB that might not even be healthy enough to play...
I wouldn't give up next years 1st rounder to trade up into the 2nd round. I would offer a 3rd and a 4th round pick.
The reason I say we should give up a 1st round pick is because it might be a high draft pick depending on how Leinart turns out this season.
Where is Kindle? I think he might drop to us. With the microfracture surgery rumor going around about him I think he would be a good fit here. With the people we have at OLB now there wouldn't be much pressure to rush him on the field.
With 5 days to go till the draft I figured I'd give a mock draft another shot since doing my pre-combine mock draft. Well here it is...Enjoy
Rd 1: ILB Sean Weatherspoon, Mizz: With Terrence Cody still on the board I had to choose between the two. I ended up choosing Spoon because I feel there...
I don't know if this has been mentioned but Leinart throws left handed...So in this case Levi will be the more run blocking tackle and they will find a better RT (which would be LT) in this case that can pass block better since that would be his blind side.
And Cody still out weighs them. Remember Cody used to weigh 385lbs. He played in the SEC at a very high level if it were the Big Ten then maybe that would be different where it is a more run heavy conference with larger OL... As for his explosion he blocked a couple FGs...Went in at FB a few...
