Once Again The "Better" Team Loses To The Spurs

Without a doubt, the Hornets are the second best playoff team the Spurs have seen since 1999. Detroit 2005 is the best team.

I just wonder had Sarver not been such a tightwad and signed Joe Johnson to a reasonble contract when he had the chance, and then traded Marion and others for Garnett last summer, what kind of awesome team Phoenix would have had this year?

The "old" spurs are now "declining" themselves into 1st in the west

The Spurs get bored with the regular season and playing all those dog teams. Now that they are healthy and smell the playoffs, they get serious and start playing ball. It happens every year after the All Star break.
