The #Vikings “QB competition” between JJ McCarthy and Kyler Murray ended before a preseason game was even played...

That would seem to indicate it wasn’t close.

JJ McCarthy is now set to be QB2, though Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer are also on the roster.

Now they can stop splitting the reps, which wasn't helping either QB.

I was told JJ was gonna be a starter and they were gonna be trading Kyler cutting him. Oh well.
Who is going to trade for JJ? Teams already have their QBs set. He's a guy who has played 10 games in the league and can't seal being his team's starter. I bet teams are lining up for him, right? Plus, the Vikings have to hedge their bets and keep a guy around who can step in once Kyler misses time. Also, don't know who told you that about JJ. Most Vikings fans felt it was Kyler's job the day they signed him.

i laughed so hard everyday waking up only to discover kyler still hadn't beaten out jj mccrappy - so hard it made my stomach hurt - laughter really is the best exercise

now i gotta start doing sit-ups again if i plan on keeping this brad pitt six-pack - atleast until kyler starts running for his life again because now he's not a cardinal

Whomever said that McCarthy's practice completion percentage was being aided by dump offs was apparently correct

That was just some rando on FB.

It was pretty apparent if you had the same videos in your feed I did in mine. There was a new deep ball or two from KM every day and then every other day you'd get 5 angles of the one deep ball JJ completed.

Not saying he will never make it but in year 3 with a QB whisperer coach for all 3 years and Jefferson and Addison he looks like a guy who's not going to make it. Never understood him rocketing up the draft boards I know his stats at Michigan were great but they were loaded with NFL talent on the OL, a great run team and a coaching staff that was stealing the other teams calls.

He is attacking anyone that disagrees with him in the comments. He even said he know more about football than Justin Jefferson.

His Xitter Biio,
"Film guy. Numbers only lie. I test my evals by betting on football sides & break down film on YouTube. Money Where the Film Is."

I mean the logic makes no sense. They have a SB roster on offense, a good defense, a great coach but the qustion is QB so naturally they decide to start the guy who's not as good because Jefferson said to?

Why would an NFL coach do that?
