i'm no Keim fan

but this is super thin. "Had ties to.....". If everyone who "had ties to.." someone who committed a crime was also guilty, we couldnt build enough prisons to hold them all.


and the DHop thing. that feels very self serving and makes 0 sense. Why would the GM who extended him would turn around a fake a drug test to get him suspended? To save $ for 4 games? C'mon

Has to be some truth to it. Even the guy in the video showed that Keim had his position listed on his social media profile which tied him to a business with Mohamed Coulibaly and as soon as the news broke about his death Keim's position was scrubbed from his profile.

was dhop recently interviewed about keim? or does he just have impeccable timing? no freakin way right?not after all this time

and if the alleged fraud was for a certain amount of guac or happened across state lines - idk but i be watching crime shows lol dead body + fraud scheme = fbi

i met keim when he was driving a golf cart in the toaster parking lot - signed my arians kangol and wreaked of whiskey - and i took a picture with a possible kreim boss

If everyone was the only other name mentioned in a pitch deck along with said person who committed a crime...

The DHOP thing is just DeAndre with DHOPE. I don't think there's a connection...and also he totally never followed through with his own investigation he promised.

So if true this is really two stories?

1 is Keim's involvement with Coulibaly which seems pretty clearly true.

2 is the allegations from D Hop. I have no idea if that's true but if it is absolutely stunning. If you go back and look at that team we were sailing along in first place with one of the best offenses until the Packer loss. D Hop aggravated his injury in that game, and if he allegation is true his PED use was connected to his rehabbing that injury. He was our best offensive player the offense fell off a cliff without him, Kyler fell apart and we never recovered.

if part of that was literally the GM setting up his best player to avoid some roster bonuses that's insane.

D Hop apparently deleted the post but still is telling people he thinks it happened.

Inclined to believe the first story but am skeptical of the D Hop one

I feel (could be wrong) that our Offense will be much better. Basing that on a much improved run game. Keeping the offense on the field and the defense off it. Less feeling about the Defense, especially if Walter Nolan is out for extended time. But, at the worst, we'll go into the next offseason, only having to concentrate on fixing one side of the Ball. Think it's fair to say that this year, both were a big concern.

Keim being able to tamper with the drug test seems a bit far fetched. Those usually have pretty tight controls on them. The thing that might be possible, but I wouldn't bet on it, is that Keim gave DHop something to take for recovery saying that it was good to take and that's what caused the failure. I'd still put that on DHop though since why would you trust a GM on that over your doctors? I wouldn't.

Yeah, we shall see...obviously there are teams that come off of bad seasons that exceed expectations, but based on our overall talent and the strength of our schedule, I'd be surprised if it were us.

All for innocent until proven guilty but Keim actions of scrubbing his Social media of ties to this does not look good. Has he made any statement about this

No one on the Cardinals knows anything until the results come in so not surprised Hopkins deleted his tweet. As for the ponzi scheme - I did speak with Keim and can say that he has obtained legal council and is very confident in his case.

It’s not easy to prove fraud in the case of these private investments gone sideways. The person who managed the money basically just has to meet the low bar that they were trying to make a return on the investment and not intentionally stealing funds.

Remember when we fired one of our coaches for allegedly getting drunk and groping some staffer at a hotel, the dude claimed it was mistaken identity and was going to sue.

He never sued, but filed an arbitration case against the team. As far as I can tell it's still pending.
