Trying to avoid politics, White would have a VERY tough time winning an argument to get in. From what read this morning he's made several very public attacks on transgender people so him arguing he's now trans would be tough.

But again if I'm the WNBA and they are still doing this leading up to the draft just hold a very public announcement and say OK Royce your physical is at 8am tomorrow we're booking you a flight and schedule it so far away he HAS to fly to make it. One of his problems with the NBA was to actually travel he needed to be sedated and there were all sorts of laws about it because in an emergency he wouldn't have been able to get off the plane if he was sedated and he just wasn't a good enough player to be worth the risk. He was also taking anti depressants that were on the NBA's banned list so presumably if he still is they're on the WNBA's banned list too.

Kanter has been taking very strong meds for years for his back and I know for a fact he failed a physical years ago because his back was so high risk.

So if they want to push it the WNBA could easily call their bluff

even with physical deficits both those guys are better ballers than at least 95% of the current wnba and 100% of the college players in the draft. Thats a simple fact. If they go undrafted it is purely due to discrimination. No other reason... unless the wnba has a rule saying biological males cannot play in their league.
these guys go undrafted, the lawsuit will be in the courts in under a week.... The wnba cannot afford a suit like that...they are a welfare league already.

S ome years ago the T Wolves worked out Kanter and he failed the physical, then he signed with someone else and played and was like statistically the worst defensive player in the entire NBA in advanced stats. Twolves had said his back was so bad on the physical they were afraid to sign him he could get hurt and have lifelong issues, he needed surgery and they were stunned when another team signed him. He's been taking very strong pain meds for year he'd been suspended by the league at least once for taking meds that were banned. So I don't think unless he's had the surgery, he could pass a physical. His off court stuff about China and LeBron was a factor but the primary reason he was out of the league is he couldn't physically play anymore due to his back.

Royce White again he's deathly afraid of flying, in college he apparently would take pills to knock him out so he could fly, but the NBA had rules against that. NBA teams just decided he's not good enough to deal with all the problems, you can look it all up. Houston drafted him he demanded they allow him to travel by bus to certain games and skip oter games due to fear of flying. He was taking meds that were banned by the NBA, he had severe anxiety disorder and other stuff he got suspended multiple times and just washed out. He wasn't good enough to accommodate his issues.

Neither could pass NBA physicals and I assume WNBA physicals are similar. If they really want to push this they need to find a former player who doesn't have those issues I'm sure they can find someone else, but White and Kanter are just poor choices

its all for political leveraging anyway. Trying to force the league to clarify the rules...I dont personally care how they clarify them one way or another but for those players to whom it could be an issue they do indeed need to clarify.

There are no trans players in the WNBA, there has only ever been one trans player in the league. She was born a woman and transitioned to what is called "non binary" now identifies as essentially both man and woman. That player is retired. There has never been a player born a man playing in the WNBA.

So the people who are looking out for women are actually solving a problem that has never existed
