Marvin has been a disappointment for sure. But he is nowhere near being called "as big of a bust there is".

Marvin is currently 4th in reception yards (1493) and second in TDs (12) for his draft class. That is not even close to being considered a draft bust.

He's got some stats, which even those numbers feel fake. The dude looks lost or scared out there, like he's playing a different game. Haven’t seen flashes of anything, just a talented college WR who can mostly catch a football in the big leagues.

Lots of top picks in that 1st round and we missed them all in getting a big can't miss generational WR prospect. Jokes on us, again.

Imagine if we drafted Anderson and Alt. Those are cornerstones. Even Nabers looks to be THAT dude. Marvin might be a decent #2 guy eventually, and may not even re-sign with us. He still has the "Oh he could still be really good" factor that we will probably lose this year when he is inevitably mediocre.

He’s more Zaven Collins than Cody Brown, to be sure. Be measuring him against his draft class is extremely weak sauce.

He’s a functional NFL player but he’s been a huge disappointment compared to expectations.

Oh I agree but when I think of a WR bust I think of someone like Treylon Burks.

That's a trash heap bust, especially with the injuries. I'm not even confident MHJ will even have a decent/solid career without injuries. He'll get all the chances in the world though.
