Trae Young can score. This much is true. He's quick, got handles and likes to shoot. He's smart enough to keep hoisting from the outside, but I thought it was because of screens and space, not intellect, but maybe I'm just one of the 95%, not like boise.

The Pelicans went 26-56 last season and somehow followed it up with an offseason featuring no trades, no free-agent signings, and 14 of the same 15 players returning

The Grizzlies are expected to play a few home games next season in Nashville instead of Memphis, which could become an annual tradition moving forward.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver wants to further expand into a rapidly growing Nashville market by utilizing the Grizzlies.

Multiple sources have confirmed that former Denver Nuggets star Ty Lawson was arrested on shoplifting charges in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Lawson allegedly stole a bottle of Tito's Vodka from a local liquor store, began drinking it, and walked to a nearby restaurant, where he was later detained by local police.

An NBA coach reportedly told the Miami Heat to stay away from Russell Westbrook because he’s difficult to coach, per
@flasportsbuzz

“An NBA source who has relationships with Erik Spoelstra and other coaches said that a coach that Spoelstra trusts told him that he advised the Heat not to sign Westbrook, asserting that he’s difficult to coach.”

Klay Thompson is expected to approach the Mavericks soon for a buyout on his $17.5 million expiring contract, if they’re unable to find a trade partner.

The Heat, plus the Warriors for a final reunion, are viewed as Thompson’s likely preferred landing spots.

I know he’s regressed a lot but can still shoot it. Is he just way slower than before? I’ve not watched much of him in the last few years.

He used to be a top tier defender and now he's a cone. I'd rather have Grayson Allen than Klay at this point. Grayson is better at creating his own shot but both are pretty poor defenders. Grayson can drive and finish while those days for Klay are over.

Grayson tries, at least.

Well... I'd say the most damaging trade in franchise history was the Durant trade, and the Beal trade is also in the running.

He got off to a stupendously bad start. And I continue to hate how we're managing our future picks. We're a franchise with almost no hope at high level success and we continue to dump our long term assets.

I like the ambition, unlike Sarver, I think Ishbia wants to actually win and would break the bank to do so, but he basically bankrupted the team the instant he bought them, and he keeps digging a deeper hole out of desperation.

Going from CP3, Booker, Bridges, whoever, Ayton to Booker, Durant, Beal, and to the present roster while trading away almost all our future assets. Ish should play manager mode in NBA video games before doing it in real life.

The Suns have made an art of leaping from rock to rock crossing a stream without getting their boots wet.

We're not out of it yet, but people have to admit (no matter how much they don't like it), that Ishbia has done well trying to make up for the mistake. Still working at it, but we are far ahead of schedule at this moment, and you all know it.

It's amazing when one thinks about. Some fans are even thinking the Suns could be more than a sixth seed in the West.

They did better last year than anyone expected but we don't have any clue where we will be another year (or two or three) down the road when time and wear start really catching up with Booker (and probably Brooks and Bridges to some extent, if they're still here).

The expectation that the various younger talents they have accumulated are all stars in the making is pretty unwarranted at the moment, and is currently anything but certain.

Whatever happens, odds are strong we won't be getting much help from future drafts until the mid 2030s, either. Improvement through free agency and meaningful trades is also highly speculative at best given the lack of resources.

People said the same thing over the past 2 drafts as well. So if you want to hold your breath until the 2030s, that's fine.

a lot of folks were wrong about us sucking last year - some (for some reason) seem more adamant this year - idk why they'd double down with logic suggesting our improvements through trade and development will only help the cause

suns had two teams last year - the first team that included brooks and williams was outright fun to watch - the second team struggled without those two and with the addition of jalen green - i apologize - i know this is well documented

but all that documentation leads us deeper into the playoffs - we can baby williams and develop maluach simultaneously - we can bang inside from both sides with a power forward and a center on the court

it's going to be harder for teams to double book - straight up - the bookmark already alleviated some of that now we're gonna add some frequent flyer miles to free up book even more

we're better than last year
