Free agent C/F Larry Nance Jr. has agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with the Indiana Pacers, sources tell ESPN.

The Timberwolves are showing trade interest in Royce O’Neale, which could lead to combining the LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges transactions. After being sent from the Suns to the Hornets, O’Neale could be on the move yet again.Minnesota is still waiting on LeBron James as well.

Maybe we get lucky and get an extra pick out of this deal somehow.

If anyone pays him that, they are certifiably stupid.

I would not give him half that with his injury history, age, and declining production.

Why would we get a pick? The deal has been approved for the most part. It will be Charlotte who gets something extra as they're the team giving something up.

A lot of people think that Young’s contract is the worst in the entire league… this is one way for the wizards to go about lowering it on that list.

Agreed.

I don't get why the NBA pundits don't point out what always happens, 1. whenever you shed salary you have to give up a pick for that. 2. whenever you get the best player in the deal you have to give up a pick for that.

We got salary relief, and NBA analysts say Bridges was the best player in the deal. The 2030 unprotected I have problem with them not getting a better player for that, but I get why we had to give up that asset.

Because bad teams exist that make dumb trades, see Sacramento, Washington, Chicago, etc.

Even in this instance, it's arguable that Bridges is the best player in this deal.

I am just going by the Bobby Mark's, Leglers, etc. of the world on their evaluation of the trade. The guys who know more about the NBA. Brooks is perceived as the best player in the deal. Definitely the youngest, LOL.

A lot of this stuff is conjecture. The source can be everything.
