Let’s go with Minshew! We got nothing to lose. He will be more exciting to watch. If he gets hurt throw Beck in there and let him get a taste of the
big boys. Or even if Minshew doesn’t go down, I say let Beck get playing time, we gotta see him in action.
We've seen Brissett, he had 12 games to prove himself…let him go and save the dough!

The amount of INTs that Minshew has thrown are a big factor to why he hasn't been able to stick anywhere. He also has a weaker arm, I feel. Brissett's not amazing, but will take care of the ball, and play the kind of game manager role that a team can do alright with.

Minshew is flashier, but riskier.

Am I going to lose sleep over this QB battle? Certainly not, but I do think that Brissett's the best player in the room, and deserves a slight bump in pay. I have no idea what his camp actually wants, but I still don't see the point in not throwing him a few more million.

Unless, of course, we're eyeballing the idea of drafting Brendan Sorsby in the supplemental draft, and Brissett can just sit out while we let one veteran and two young QBs battle it out.

Holy Crap! Your scenario just made me visualize the next couple of years of the cardinals. Minshew, temporarily and then Beck and then Sorsby. Then next year, our veteran QB's Beck, Sorsby and a newbie QB...Now I get it 602.....Just shoot me!!

That really is roughly what we're looking at... while Brissett may get a pay bump, I doubt he'll get (or want) a real extension. Minshew is on a one-year deal. Beck will be the only QB on our roster to start the 2027 season. Kedon Slovis is a free agent too.

We'll be in the market for a bridge QB, or planning on Beck to be the bridge, when next year's offseason starts. Unless we draft Sorsby.

I'd say it's more likely than not that we're going to have to take a swing at QB in the 1st next year, no matter where we end up.

Yes but the still chose Justin Fields over him. The supporting cast argument makes no difference.

Fields has unique value in his running ability. Maybe they want to give him a few looks when the situation calls for it. Mahomes is aging and coming off a leg injury.

I know their career numbers are similar. But I think it could be argued that Jacoby had a career year last year. He had the offense cooking. With the defense knowing we weren't going to try to run and bad pass pro. There is the issue of the 4th quarter meltdowns. What was he 0-6 in game winning drives? I think you have to figure that reverts to the mean? Is Jacoby really a choke artist? He doesn't seem like it. But maybe. I don't know. I think I'm willing to take our chances with that vs watching the Garden Minshew show. I know that's going to suck. And then he gets hurt after 2 games. Plus his shtick has gotten annoying already.

This is why I’m fine with Jacoby staying at home if he’s gonna play this game. He’s easily replaceable as the starter since he frankly wasn’t very good. Plus, we’re gonna stink this year, and I want to be sure that at some point, Beck gets some reps.

If Jacoby shows up, fine. But I’m fine with Monti waiting it out

the saddest thing will be after another Monti team is awful enough to get a top 3 pick to draft a QBOTF, he'll probably get another pass for the following year from a lot of people who will suggest you can't judge the team based off them having a rookie QB, taking us into Year 6 of the Lossenfort era.

Can you imagine if Coach Good Hang starts like 11-23 and people are making excuses?
