Yea Knicks. Keep it going. Former Sun, Landry Shamet, has come up big in the playoffs.
All he can do is shoot 3's. He's still bad defensively. He has improved enough that he is a useful player but I think Kobe Brea will be as good or better than him right now if we give him the chance.

i think the knicks were down by 10+ points twice in the game and came back both times - that's going to be huge for new york's confidence moving forward

the knicks play tough - brunson has just as much heart as wemby does - both teams are so unique but im lowcarb expecting a blow out in game 2

Rooting for the Knicks; 1 - in your face LA (i know its sad), 2 - its the spurs.

OG was on fire, and what does Alvarado do, goes 1 on 5 and made zero passes. Keep his minutes down.

I don't disagree. Shamet was a disappointment when he was with Phoenix.

Knicks were actually really impressive. I have never seen them play that well. I will admit I have not been watching the East playoff games.

Still think Spurs will win if they can just get Wemby involved in trying to score in the paint. Really I think all they have to do is just lob it to him over and over. He will get about a million foul shots that way because nobody else can get up to the ball like he can.
Wembi in the paint laughable

Loved the outcome, but man is it tough to even watch NBA basketball anymore. So many threes being shot that neither team's coach really needs to have any designed plays. Just chuck it around the circle until someone shoots it, then try to get a rebound or get down court to defend. And all of the non-called traveling on plays? Ugh. Have any of the players or refs heard of a pivot foot or taking steps? Just an ugly game anymore.

Not to mention the countless times that players carry the ball. Happens ALL THE TIME.

Cant tell whether it 5 steps or 4 including the pivot but it’s a travel nonetheless.

NBA rules are now optional. It's like a box of chocolates. Never know what you will get.

Obe ironic thing about the San Antonio crowd was their differently colored t-shirts for each section. Unintentionally it highlighted the Knicks fans who were there because they obviously weren't going to wear the free t-shirts to blend in.

The Mavs had Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson…

in 2004 when Cuban let Nash walk, he also allegedly contemplated trading dirk for shaq. Thankfully he didn’t. That would have been the prequel to Brunson and doncic.

But in all seriousness, as maddening as it is that Brunson is not a mavs player, I’m truly happy for him and hope he is holding that finals mvp trophy. He is the definition of a clutch player and is hitting some ridiculous shots in those moments that very few guys have hit.

On the play late in the game when wemby got called for traveling…it looked like he traveled 2 or 3 different times before the ref called it. It was almost as if they were like, damn I have to call that one.

I do wonder if this is the series where age finally makes a difference. Some of the Knicks players are playoff warriors and hardened from years of disappointment. For those reasons I pick New York. But the spurs are stupid good and they seem to know that too. I live close to San Antonio now and have absolutely no attachment to them whatsoever. But since I live a little closer to Austin I am somewhat spared from the spurs media hype. It’s weird how the split those media markets. I hope they get swept.
