Mike Brown was fired from the Kings less than a year and a half ago.He was also fired by the Cavaliers, who he just swept, TWO SEPARATE TIMES in his career.Today, he’s leading the Knicks to their first NBA Finals in 27 years.

I still hate the Spurs but I don’t remember them ever flopping as bad as OKC does. It’s borderline unwatchable.
They never did but flopping wasn't as advanced back then as it was still fairly new. And while Manu was very dangerous at times with his flailing and flopping, he wasn't intentionally trying to injure anyone IMO. But Bowen was an extremely dirty player, repeatedly slid that foot under vulnerable shooters and if he were discovered locked up in a Turkish prison I'd probably leave him there. But for the most part, the Spurs just played smart basketball and they played the refs even better than they played their opponents.

What the Spurs got away with back then would make OKC blush, so I don't want to hear then whine.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but these spurs are actually likeable. Or do I just really want to see okc get beat that bad.

Really poor management by the spurs. They got within 1. Sga back. Wemby out at 5 min mark. Okc goes on a run and no timeout. Wemby sits out for too long. I think the halftime Lead is 12 for okc now.

About midway through the 2nd the whistles came in an avalanche. Went from a fun game to, once again, OKC representing everything I hate about the modern NBA.

Even as I type it, yet another awful call in OKCs favor and the refs don't allow the challenge despite the Spurs coach repeatedly signaling for it.

Aaaand their coach gets a T, as icing on the cake.

Officiating is trash here. No goal tend. Off of Chet. No challenge allowed. Sga falls and foul called, then a T.

Just abysmal refs. Miss a possible basket interference on Kornet and and OBVIOUS goaltend by Cason Wallace. Then they don't allow Johnson to challenge the out of bounds that was clearly going to be SA's ball, and then give him a T for arguing. Then Fox drives in Dort blocks his shot cleanly and they call a foul on Dort.

So many bad calls

Castle just mistook the ref for a teammate, which I am surprised does not happen more when the Spurs where this uniform.

No joke.

Officiating shouldn’t impact a game but it sure did tonight. Just deflated them and they haven’t recovered since.

I know he's playing hurt but I wish SA would let FOX handle the ball more and take Castle off the ball so much. Castle is a terrific young player but he's an absolute TO machine 22 coming into tonight 3 more tonight. When FOX couldn't play Castle was the PG and had 11 and 9 TO's back to back. Since FOX came back his TO's have fallen to 1, 1 and 3 tonight. Fox has struggled with his shot tonight but at least you get a shot up, too often with Castle you don't.

Keep the ball with Fox or Harper and let Castle me more of a finisher.

I’ve been won over by the ref bashers when it comes to OKC in these playoffs, but SA lost tonight because Wemby was a no show, IMO. Didn’t think the refs played that big of a role, at least tonight.
