brissett isn't special - he's a pocket quarterback that's willing to stay in the pocket and take the hit to deliver the ball (partly because he can't run) - this is only super admirable to fans who've watched kyler murray for the last 5 years - it was a pocket qb that thrived in petzing's system - a system featuring mcbride and wilson - brissett just happened to be that pocket qb - minshew is likely just as capable/lousy
they're on the same tier - same paycheck likely with the same ceiling - the only real unknown is carson beck who we will most likely ultimately eventually turn to

If the Cards really want to be the center of attention, they should trade Jacoby for a 7th, start Minshew for 4ish games, then give it to Beck. To anon things up, after trading Jacoby, throw out a 5th in the Supplemental Draft and see if you land Kenny Rogers.
