The running back room is crowded until someone gets hurt. i could see trading Conner but not Benson. Allgeier only has a two-year contract. you have to look at the future, not only at today.

After last year I'd be pretty hesitant to think we're good to trade both of them. No idea what we'd get too. I think Benson is the odd man out with Love now unless we use him to return KO's he's just not a guy who's going to play ST so I don't see enough of a role for him.

I thought Benson was a good pick where we took he in his draft. Saw him as a #2 and potential JC replacement when JC aged out/retired.

Injury has certainly stifled any evidence to bolster his roster spot. Only minor flashes when he did get on the field. So much for his pre-draft rating. He looked to run too high, too stiff.

Except for one big bone-head play, DeMarc looked to have more to offer.

I think it is a good idea to bring in as many skilled players as possible during pre-season. At least get the first-hand notes on the player in the event that that room gets hit by multiple injuries. Get 'em on the replacement board for call up.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I served in the military. And doing so means you fought for Americans to have freedom of speech and freedom of expression.....and a bunch of other articles of stuff that needs to be discussed in the P&R.

I hope we keep Conner. When he plays, he leads by example. And the same when he doesn't play. We need a guy like him on the roster.
