I want to address this. Standing up for things I feel important isnt throwing away my self respect. Just because we don't agree on things doesnt make me wrong or throwing away my self respect. Multiple times I asked to not be atted and tried to walk away,

Beyond that, any assumption about my state, councilor, is frankly out of bounds and way beneath anything you are accusing me of

This is poor across the board
Btw, it’s weak sauce to criticize POSTERS (not their takes but the people) and then tell people not to criticize your doing so. IMO that feels awfully fragile. I’ve always thought highly of you. I’ve considered you an upright individual. Sometimes here you let your emotions get the better of you. I get that. It happens to all of us. But you’ve got to take a step back and be introspective now and again. Maybe that comes with age. I certainly didn’t have that perspective when I was younger, even in my 40s. But now I look at exchanges such as that and I just shake my head of someone acting like that and then doubling tripling and quadrupling down on it. Again, no one criticizing you was criticizing your actual argument, it was the manner in which you attacked fellow posters.

Pretty freaking jealous of a real rebuild
And that all started by realizing their mediocrity wasn’t good enough and they didn’t have the guy they could build around so they tore down and got young talent and a haul for Paul George while they could.

And when Detroit unbelievably loses this series to Orlando, we should try and do the same thing with Booker and pry one of their young studs and as many draft picks as possible. It won’t be the SGA trade… nothing in NBA history probably will ever be again… but it’ll be the start of something instead of the continuation of what I fear is kinda nothing, aka purgatory.

Awesome thanks councillor.

Book with 2 points at the half letting everyone get theirs and still ends up points leader in the whole team but yeah he’s terrible GTFOH … Book isn’t the reason we don’t compete with these guys, size is! Not having Goody and Mark was a huge problem not to mention those are probably our 2 best rebounders, also missed Allen for much of the series. So an unhealthy first year squad against the deepest team in the league and defending champs and we didn’t embarrass ourselves really… need to address the size and depth with size this offseason.

Way better season than I was expecting from these guys. I do think there’s gonna be more roster turnover than you would expect for a playoff team. Honestly, this team needs to add some athleticism in a big way.
I think that would make sense. This isn’t just a young squad that needs to continue to grow. It’s a barbell team. Bunch of young guys and bunch of older vets. The latter won’t be here when they eventually hopefully break through. They should be looking to continue to get younger and gain assets.

I don't believe Book and Green work. One has to go.

There are solid arugments on both sides
This is where I’m at. Green is really good at getting to the rim and creating his own shot, but he can’t see the court at all. Anytime he has tried to pass it seems like it’s been a turnover and other teams know that.

The roster construction is really bad. I would expect the same. I think the Suns might even move some “favorites” just to get the right balance on the roster.

are you drunk? I just can’t understand throwing away your self respect over something like someone’s take on the internet.

I was trying to understand why you insisted on being a jerk. Stand up for your point all you want with facts. But you didn’t do that. You were name calling and being a total jerk. You were openly hostile disrespectful to posters. When you wake up tomorrow go back and reread this thread. If you still feel you were in the right then I guess I never really knew you, Chris.

FWIW, comments like these do not help the situation.

Kind of a crazy thing to say considering we made the playoffs and were pretty much the 6th seed for the entire season. "Really" bad? Come on CR.

Not that much better. We can't win when our best players shoot 20% and 30% from three, respectively.
Shooting guards shoot in the low 30%s is unacceptable. Green is still young and can mature with time, he's been out for most of season. But Book has no excuse there.

Book’s 3pt shot has deteriorated over the past 3 years. He’s ranked 149th in the regular season in 3pt % this year.

For reference Kon Knneppel is rookie and shot 43% on 8 attempts per game.

Booker has an issue in that no one else on this team is a reliable passer. Green gets quite a few wide open looks, often from Booker passer. OKC threw hard doubles at Booker, something he's always struggled with. He's handled them better this year because he isn't wasting 10 seconds before engaging the offense, but it is still an issue.

Also, while Green had a white hot game against Golden State, his shooting against OKC was terrible. 38% from the field and 20% from 3. He averaged 22 on 21 shots... that is awful stuff.

Our biggest problem in this series is that OKC is a buzz saw.

We knew they'd smoke us... and they did.

Woulda been nice to see how we'd have played if Fleming and Man Man had gotten any time... or if Williams foot isn't falling off. I think we probably steal one, but that is about the extent of it.

sga and chet stayed in til the end - that's about as close to a win as we were going to get - we improved throughout the series - far as sweeps go lol not too bad

Book has 2pts and 5 turnovers in the first half of an elimination game, you really want to take on this argument?
Stop shriveling up man! Stop sucking every time it counts. Jesus. Go see a sport shrink and practice what you see on game tape. Yes, you will be doubled. Try to find some opportunities still. Get some trainers in to simulate these situations. Heck, call PJ Tucker. This must change man.

It was as expected. I can't decide though whether or not I'd have wanted us to be fully healthy to see how the starting lineup of Booker, Green, Brooks, O'Neale and Williams could do against this team. We'd lose but we'd compete.

But after watching that other team play, I think I'd rather we had a healthy starting lineup of Gillespie, Goodwin, Brooks, Fleming and Maluach. We'd get destroyed but I bet that OKC team would hate having to play us. And if SGA flopped his usual 27 times in the first half and if we happened to dogpile on him on flop number 28, accidentally of course, I'd say that as a sweep that wouldn't be too bad either.
