I think only a fool would take him #3

I think the comparison is in the sense of a LB/edge hybrid coming out of college that has the traits to potentially be a strong edge.

If you think you have a trade partner in the late first beyond KC where you can move up from 34 and get Simpson, I'd rather just stick at 3 and take Love than trade down for potentially someone like Fano at #9. Granted, you'd still have 34th pick in this scenario too. This would assume that one of the big motivations of trading down with KC is with eyes on getting Simpson in late first.

One thing that seems like a consensus among teams is that an OL run is going to happen on Thursday night, likely starting in the 10–14 range.
