He doesn’t make that yet an it’s not 75 million.

Ugh… you’re right. He’s going to make that as he gets EVEN WORSE with age. Great.

Why post trash like this out of frustration. This season and many other would be pathetic without Book, fans are so goofy with the overreacting after a loss or bad year geesh. Bookers don’t grow on trees even if some people think they do lol.

I’m not frustrated. I expect nothing out of a Booker led team, and unfortunately, that’s usually what we get. And many of our seasons WITH Booker have been pathetic with him, so what’s the difference with or without?

Dude’s basically a modern day Tom Chambers as far as value’s concerned. Very good, but not elite scorer, sometime All-Star, who routinely comes up short in big games and despite pretty looking stats, can’t be a guy you can build a team around.

Cheese I gotta call this. I am incredibly frustrated, especially how we started.

Their 3 best players missed the equivalent of a full season combined. Still #1 in NET rating.
Without SGA that team is middle of the pack, he’s the closer he draws the doubles and he lives at the line and gets teams in foul trouble. Without him they are just a team…

You need solid consistency guys and Book is that. He is an elite scorer and has been for years! The disrespect he gets even from PHX fans is absurd. They even said in the broadcast since the beginning of the year only Luka and SGA have scored or averaged more. He’s sneaky consistent and just needs guys around him. Now does he need to be your number 1 no not necessarily but you have other guys now, Green is what 23? This was year one of this team and they barely played together I would think if they were even healthy they maybe 4/5 seed only a few games back and we missed tons of games from many different players. Like Fitz I still like a bit of loyalty from the organization to guys who do it the right way. Would you rather have a ******* like Ja?

I was really happy with the way the season started but this ship turned south about a week before the All-Star Break and I kinda gave up all that much hope/hype when the injuries mounted. It’s also easier living in a different state where I don’t watch every game so I’m not as emotionally invested.

And that brutal stretch of games where we kept blowing close 4th quarters and Devin Booker just consistently looked like Mr. McGoo down the stretch of all of them foreshadowed exactly what was coming down the pike for Phoenicians.

It’s our lot in life. If you can’t laugh at it this point, I don’t know what to tell ya.

On the bench and not playing are entirely two different things you’re joking right? If he’s gone and others are asked to step up that’s entirely different than oh they have a big lead so he sits be serious.

Devin Booker has been a top 5 scorer in the NBA ONCE in his ENTIRE CAREER. He’s a 25 ppg scorer in a league where the elite guys are consistently scoring 28-34. So… he’s a very good scorer, but no… he’s not elite.

The disrespect he gets even from PHX fans is absurd. They even said in the broadcast since the beginning of the year only Luka and SGA have scored or averaged more. This was year one of this team and they barely played together I would think if they were even healthy they maybe 4/5 seed only a few games back and we missed tons of games from many different players.

The Lakers, Rockets and Nuggets all could say the same thing… they all missed tons of games from many different players. And they’re still the 3/4/5 seed.

Like Fitz I still like a bit of loyalty from the organization to guys who do it the right way. Would you rather have a ******* like Ja?
Yeah. That’s who I’d rather have.

First you call my post trash. Then you project that Ja comment at me. That’s my cue to end the convo. ‘Nite Nashman.

History is on our side although as an Arizona Sports fan that could be a bad thing. No 7 seed has missed the playoffs since the play in tournament started.

Booker laid an egg in the 4th tonight. He sucked.

Also, we're the worst offensive team the league when he isn't on the court.

Also, we don't control our own pick for another 5 years because of previous short sighted and idiotic trades.

Trading him, without getting an absolute bonanza is still insanity.

woof

Booker has scored 49 points in the playoffs once and 47 twice. He holds the all time record for most points scored in his first ever playoff run.

He had a bad game but you know this as a Suns fan

It's the high pressure elimination games where Booker has a problem.

Booker didn't play great but this loss falls on Ott almost exclusively. We lost because we had no size, poor rotations, and no rebounding.

We need to address the roster shortcomings this offseason. Re-sign Goodwin, keep Collin if he's less than the MLE, and trade Grayson for size off the bench. I'm 100% done with Mr Glass on the bench. Since he's been paid he misses more time than anyone else. He's missed 31 games this season, 32 counting the play-in. Last year he missed 18 games. Those games seem to come at the most inopportune times as well.

Did Ott say anything about Williams health post game? If he wasn't hurt, it's almost incomprehensible he sat the entire 4th qtr.

They probably have Williams on minutes restriction. I think he is the one you sign before Collin and Goodmen

He's restricted so likely to be the last who signs. We can set a price and go forward. If he receives a larger offer then we need to make a decision but given his injury history I doubt he gets a big offer.

I agree with everything above except. "falls on Ott almost exclusively". Ott should expect Booker to step up, he didn't.

IMO, Ott should have replaced OSO with Fleming, but I understand not putting a rookie in a game like this.

No no no. He's a player who is vastly underrated by the media and fans that never gets the love and praise he deserves!...

While I agree that Book needed to step up and that it's reasonable for Ott to expect that, Ott also did a terrible job of stopping Avdija, and his rotation was terrible.
I think it's important to remember Ott is a rookie, so I am not super-upset, but this loss was on him.

I've been saying it from the start of the season about Oso. Oh so terrible! The majority of this game was keeping him in for long stretches. Is 4 on5 when he's in.

Our centers combined for 7 pts on 5 attempts. Pathetic.

We had the momentum going with about 3 minutes left, but some pretty dumb fouls there stopped us. Book had one, Brooks had one and the T. The only person with bravado didn't even touch the ball during that time.

That T was really bad also. I love what Dillon brings but a technical at that point in a must win game like a play in is idiotic.

Definitely looked like a young team with a rookie coach head coach last night.
