Glimpses of future Mauluach hitting the three. Fleming doing the backstroke blocked shot. Huntley hitting the three, rebounding, and dunking. Brea finally having that hot three point game. They ended the game with the G league team on the court, I believe. Bouyea played some games down there.

Without pressure Brea and even Bourea can nail the 3s. Dunn's problem is his athletism standing in his way of developing into a good defender. His reaction to shake and fake is way too much for him to recover in time. If he cannot harness his quickness, he'll not stay in this league long.

At least our B team can beat their C team, or maybe that was their D team. Anyway, though the outcome is meaningless, it was still a lot of fun to watch.

It's official. The Suns will face the Trail Blazers in the play-in.

The Trail Blazers are winning. It looks like we will play them to open the play-in.

If it happens, the game will be in Phoenix.
I think the game was going to be in phoenix regardless of the opponent. Were the higher seed.

Yes, the location was already decided. If the Suns win, they move on.

They had Dort playing who is a definite rotation player of theirs… give th Suns. Refit they showed up and put in the work and knocked down shots! And played D!

They will be.

The only players we have that will penetrate are Grayson, Book, and Jalen. None are playing. That means we are going to have a ton of turnovers and a ton of three point shots.

Rasheer and Dunn are afraid to even try to score other than a wide open dunk or a 3 point shot.

Most likely we score like 70 again and even OKC's third tier players probably score 120.
This did not age well AT ALL.

Yeah Dort can be a problem when he's surrounded by quality players but he can't carry a team. Between the two teams, we were missing 18 players and only 8 of those missing were from the Suns.

The Suns C squad is better than the Thunder's C squad. Somewhat impressive, given the assets used to amass the players on each side.

We'd be lucky to win a game off them in a series this year, but still, it's good to see some glimmer of hope that we've got some quality players to develop.

That was our G League team at the end. Bouyea actually played a few games with the four on the court at the end of the game.

Dort, Wiggins, and McCain are all players who contributed to their current record and not just in blowouts.

Here's hoping this performance by our bench squad inspires the rest of the team for the play-in.

Also hoping that it inspires our coach to see that there IS something to bringing productive length into the floor.

Not gonna lie, I did not tune in for this game. I'll watch a summer league game if I want to see this kind of match up. Hell, I'm surprised Lou Dortz played.

Too bad, it was probably one of the more fun games since the All-Star break.

You're probably right, but I had an Invincible marathon happening when it started. And almost none of those guys are gonna see significant play-in/playoff minutes.

Well, that's not really why you watch that particular game anyway. It was a nice preview of what the future could hold and had no bearing on the playoffs, although Dunn and ManMan might have played themselves into the playoff rotation a little.

i think dunn did - he was playing really well before ott shrunk the rotation - then the back to back - injuries and restings gave dunn another chance - he made the most of it
