The Trailblazers beat the Clippers tonight. If they beat the Kings in Portland, they will play the Suns in 7-8 game in Phoenix.

Grayson Allen, Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks and Royce O'Neale are all OUT.

Collin Gillespie is QUESTIONABLE.

The Suns look liked they have packed it up for the season and play-in. Sincerely hope I'm wrong.

This team is not giving off positive vibes and they never have been good enough to turn it on and off.

Season? Definitely. Not sure why you think they packed it in for the play-in though.

I agree they have not been good enough to turn it on and off, but it's pretty clear the hypothesis is that they believe getting rest and hopefully healthy bodies will make a bigger difference than getting playing time vs what I assume will be a resting OKC squad.

The Suns haven't been good for a long time. It's nothing new.

A lot of teams are resting players and still manage to put out a good effort under the lights.

Sure. But almost ALL of their best players?

Booker
Green
Collin
Brooks saddled with 4 fiuks
Allen out with an jnjury
That’s a of scoring assists essentially sitting all night.

I get that, I'm fairly frustrated by their play in a bunch of winnable games that they ended up losing, but I don't think that means they're punting on the post-season.

The Suns jumped a lot of teams earlier in the season by out hustling them. Now that other teams are ramping up their effort, that is no longer a major advantage and the Suns lack the skill to compete, especially with bodies in and out of the lineup.

I'm simply saying, the Suns haven't been good for months. Turning it on in the play-ins would be nice, but I'm not counting on them reversing directions on a dime.

Again, for me it's not always wins and losses, but how they play. There is no excuse for not putting in the effort on defense. They have opened a freeway to the basket for opponents.

A completely meaningless game.

The Suns would be wise to not put a single rotation player on the court, or any player they care about for next season. Especially if Lu Dort is active, trying to keep up with his pace of crippling one player per week.

Hell, if it was an option, they should just forfeit.

This is the NBA's problem. The season is too long, too many pointless games.

They will be.

The only players we have that will penetrate are Grayson, Book, and Jalen. None are playing. That means we are going to have a ton of turnovers and a ton of three point shots.

Rasheer and Dunn are afraid to even try to score other than a wide open dunk or a 3 point shot.

Most likely we score like 70 again and even OKC's third tier players probably score 120.

Jordan Ott hopes to give Haywood Highsmith some minutes in the game.

It's good to see Jalen Green working with the assistant coaches.
