Gerald Bourguet sees it too.

Suns have gotta find a way to right the ship -- particularly on the defensive end -- in these last 5 games. Just need to win ONE play-in game. This season has been too much fun for that unexpected, well-deserved playoff appearance to shrivel up like this

Ott has to use the bench and flemming when we are struggling to stop teams. Granted thy were making some ridiculous shots that were pretty well defended. The Hornets have a ton of scorers so knew this was gonna be a tough game. But for god some Ott Fleming has been showing lately and damn you could use the length and defense! Brooks still rusty as well as Williams hopefully they can get their crap together and soon! Goody going down is just more salt in the wound geesh can we stay injury free for a few freaking games this team is snakebit!

honeymoon is definitely over - this team can't close and is beginning to quit
We really haven't closed well for quite awhile now and with all the injuries, we don't feel much like a team right now either. I'm disappointed that we aren't able to play up to our earlier level but I still like Ott and these guys. I don't see us winning a play in game, let alone a series, but for the most part we've exceeded expectations.

They won the game by overwhelming talent upside and adequate coaching. They made tough shots and made our D rotation collapse. Even their weakest center position with Diabate and Kalkbrenner is better than ours with Oso and MW. We'd have needed Allen and Gillespie to nail those open 3s to be even in the game. This is also a rare game we had more TOs and fewer steals than the other team. Brooks hasn't shown positive effect on the team yet after coming back.

The Suns won't miss the play-in. They have that locked up. Mostly they are playing for home court advantage.
I hope that's not their focus. We were very competitive early because we had incredible depth and everyone bought into the system. Now, we see a lot of confusion and hesitation. I'd like HCA but mostly I'd like to see the team play like we've seen them play.

The team chemistry has been missing for a couple of months. That's when I first noticed it.

It wasn't about winning or losing but how they played. It was exactly like Mat Ishbia promised.

Now, other than Jordan Goodwin, I'm not seeing it.
