clippers are playing the spurs tonight - we need to win this game - we play much better at home and with mark williams

i still don't know what dunn dunn that was so bad - no clue why he didn't play against orlando - hoping we still have a cohesive locker room because it just doesn't make sense to me when we desperately needed interior defense

With 7 games to go, I think you can say this team is only marginally better than last year's team. Mainly because they can't stay healthy long enough to form any cohesion. My guess is if they get bounced early this is going to be the reason.

More fun to watch? Sure, but ultimately meh unless it leads somewhere. Let's hope they can come together when it counts.
disagree ultimately meh - getting a program started is very important in it's own right and getting ALL of these young guys playoff experience is invaluable this early in their careers.

The reality is the future of this team really revolves around Green/Malauch/Fleming and I guess Gillespie (though I'm less sold he's a fixture at any position. But getting those guys playoff reps in any way shape or form is great, especially in a season a lot of us expected to never even come to close to getting out of the toilet to start with.

It's a building block season. And a solid one.

The only problem is to REALLY move forward and rebuild, this team should do the smart thing and sell high on Booker this off-season. They really ain't going anywhere with him as their #1 star against the SGA/Wemby/Luka/Ant-Man standing in his way and playing to be a perennial 5, 6 or 7 seed seems pretty pointless. Although,m I guess you could argue it still gives those really young guys more playoff reps.

I don't know. I just don't think the season is meh in any way. The second half of the season has been disappointing because of wins and losses, but I think it's been exciting in terms of development of Fleming/Malauch. And we've been playing with house money all season as far as I'm concerned.

See my follow-up comment. We said some of the same things. To me, I don't get caught up in the "fun" of it all. It's a temporary high. If this doesn't lead anywhere nobody is going to remember much about this year 10 years from now or care.

LOL

You guys... With his performance at the line in the past several days, do you actually think he's practicing free throws? You'd think if he was, we'd have seen/heard something about it.
Guy A practicing something is totally unrelated to what Guy B is practicing. And do you really think Oso isn't practicing his free throws?! It is obvious to everybody and everything that this is the weakest part of his game. First of all, Oso is a smart guy and you know it eats at him and he's working on it. And even if he wasn't, there is NO WAY the Suns staff wouldn't have him work on it. As we know, shooting FTs can be a mental thing. He has looked better to me as of late. Last game he had a sequence where the first one was a little long and went in and out and he nailed the second. I can see improvement but it's going to take time. And you can't replicate in-game FTs when it comes to the mental side of things. I think we'll see improvement over time but not overnight.

Speaking of FTs, are you aware that Dunn has missed his last 12 consecutively?! He had better be working on them as well!

Do I think he's practicing his free throws? NO, not as much as he should.

The WHOLE TEAM, including Book, needs to work on their free throws. But outside of that one time Rasheer missed two in a row to lose us a game, Oso's inability to hit free shots has hurt us the most.

Book is aware. Eddie said he has added more arc to his FTs. He's been shooting it at a high rate as of late. Nothing gets by Book.

And regarding Oso, you can speculate but none of us here knows how much he is practicing FTs.

In afraid you have to put Dunn and Oso with those three. Hopefully they get better and are only playing if injuries hit the team

When one guy (1) replies, it's not everybody else than you.
