Entering the game Toronto was dead last in the NBA in 4th quarter play. The Suns were one of the top teams in the 4th quarter. Didn't seem like it in this game.

I'm not even ashamed to say it: the freaking refs. They allowed everyone on the Suns to be mauled on the way to the basket with hardly any calls.

PRACTICE YOUR GD FREE THROWS. Inexcusable.

No excuse for any player, ever, to airball a free throw. EVER. Oso needs to sit until he can make at least one of two.

Ighodaro isn't a basketball player. He's a body trying to play basketball. I find him painful to watch and can only assume he isn't going to be with the team for long.

This is a crazy post. Oso is absolutely a basketball player. A limited basketball player. His shooting is a big problem, no doubt. At a minimum he has to make free throws.

Ran out of steam on second night of back-to-back, but I also pin this one on:

A) book was dreadful down the stretch. Turnover, lazy decisions, hero ball. Really bad.

B) Colin and Royce had bad games.

C) the refs allowed this to be pro wrestling. At times it was ridiculous how much pushing off they were allowing.

Incredibly impressed by Fleming though. His trajectory has me dreaming big thoughts for his future.

Needed Brooks, starting to believe
We need to get him back so we can then sit Collin for a couple weeks to see if that hand sprain will finally clear up. Clearly he can play through it and sometimes even play well but overall his passing isn't as crisp, his shooting is more inconsistent and it shows up defensively too. He first sprained it back in December and then aggravated it in January leading to him missing some games but it wasn't long enough. You can see him grimacing and holding his hand often and he just hasn't been the same player since it happened.

Like I said, Hack-a-daro will be a thing soon. He's unplayable at the ends of quarters.

Come on Eric. You don't mean this do you? Oso definitely is a basketball player. In fact, he's one of the smartest on the team. He has talent deficiencies, yes, but he definitely an NBA player.
