This is unacceptable. This is embarrassing. They have had arguably six months to come up with a plan, and they decide on a journeyman backup to compete with an above average backup. They are not even trying. That’s the worst part to me. That they are not selling any hope. Pay up for Willis. Buy Anthony Richardson. Sent three first round-picks for Burrow. Heck, draft Simpson with #3. That would be aggressive. Just do something to give me just a slight hope for this season! What’s the plan for 2026?

How are you going to sell this to people going to the stadium? How are you going to make people spend their hard-earned money to witness this? I hope nobody does. I truly hope that the stadium will be completely empty, maybe except for away fans. What about the current players? It must be exciting for McBride, Paris Johnson, Walter Nolen and all the others to put their health at risk every week for nothing. To work for an employer that don’t even try to help them win.

This is unacceptable. Ossenfort should be fired. It has happened several times that a general manager is fired after the draft (they don’t do it before because the entire organization has prepared for the draft for a long time). I am aware that Ossenfort will not be kicked out, but he should. I wonder if Bidwill has actually told him that he is safe no matter what. He has given no hope for this year. The rest of the signings on day one was fine and showed a desire to win, but you cannot do that without a quarterback. It’s just how the NFL works. Several fans gave up on the season several weeks ago, but I was actually okay with Ossenfort, but this does it for me. Not trying to win is inexcusable.

So, changed your tune on spending money in FA, have you?

Huh? I don't know if you have even read what I have wrote for days? And are you aware that something happened in the NFL yesterday? Again I have no idea what your point is.

It is what it is. Have a good day.

You were excusing Monti for not spending money and now he's cheap. You changed your tune. Yes, it's easy to follow what you've been writing.

Minshew>>>>Richardson.
Minshew>Willis

Just say no to Richardson, he's total buns.

I've been sitting back and making snarky comments about Willis, but Willis promises to be the biggest bust of this FA cycle. Dude has had a limited amount of success with the Packers.

I fear Allar = Skelton. Cannon arm, big body, absolutely sprays footballs all over the field without accuracy.
He never passed the eye test for me. For a Blue Blood Kerry Collins was the only QB worth a squat out of PSU

You don't understand why we might want the guy that was just the Chiefs backup QB as our backup QB?
Not when you have a starter that went 1-11 last year. Going into next year with these two is a joke. No other way to look at it.

Do you also not understand there were no better options? Or at least, more sensible options.

What do any of the options get you over JB? All of them get you 4th in the division.
Brother the teams ahead of us in the division traded for their current starter, is their current starter’s fifth team, and drafted their current starter last.

Monti is doing nothing to gain ground on these guys, who have fought their way to the top of the mountain.

Brissett and Minshew are give-up options.
