Murray isn't even the biggest ARIZONA Cardinals bust let alone Phoenix Cardinals bust or St Louis Cardinals bust let alone NFL bust

Az Cardinal bust Mount Sucksmore

Wendell Bryant #12. Starts 9 games in his career. Has 1.5 sacks for his career
Josh Rosen #10 career passing cards 2864
Chad Williams #98 overall 202 career receiving yards
Matt Leinart #10 overall 4065 career yards over 33 games
Buster Davis #69 overall 24 career tackles

Phoenix Cardinals is just 5 short years. 88-93

Tom Tupa QB #68 Career 3430 passing yards. 12 TDs to 25 ints
Walter Reeves #40 overall. 347 career receiving yards

I could keep going but there is no point.
Exactly how I feel about being a fan of this team.

Not one of those was coined a generational talent and the top pick in the draft overall. This guy supposedly knew the offense better than the coaches, will revolutionize the games, blah blah blah. Definitely biggest cardinals draft bust of all time and nfl history. He’s is the face of Mount Sucksmore lol

Carson Palmer was more than just good in 2015.

In the 2015 NFL season, Carson Palmer had an outstanding performance, throwing for 4,671 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, leading the Arizona Cardinals to a 13-3 record, a division title, and an NFC Championship Game appearance.

Season Statistics
Passing Yards: 4,671
Touchdowns: 35
Interceptions: 11
Passer Rating: 104.6
Games Played: 16
Pro Bowl Selection: Yes, this was Palmer's third Pro Bowl selection

Finished 2nd in MVP voting to Cam Newton.

Late in the season he hurt his index finger on his throwing hand which likely affected some of his postseason play, but we likely still would have lost to Carolina who was statistically the best offensive team that year, just ahead of us.

it is interesting to see the Kyler rehabilitation movement on the internet

after three years of watching talking heads and media basically say "Kyler.... meh"

how its "Kyler -- there is really something there!"
The stench of the Cards is now off of him so they know he will be good more than likely.

Dude that Carolina game was worse than any game I’ve ever seen Kyler play. Arguably any Cardinal QB.

GB game Palmer was entirely average and got bailed out by Fitz, defense (save two plays) and a helmet deflection. Palmer had 8 turnovers in the 2015 playoffs for heavens sake.

Everyone knows our season ended that Philly game. He was legit MVP contender even that late in the season on one of the best (Cardinal, and even great in general) offenses of all time (coupled with some great offenses/record when he hurt his ACL, twice) before he got hurt.

I even traveled for that home game against GB late in regular season and had front row tickets to that smokeshow, which disguised his downfall. Palmer looked so uncomfortable and could barely throw it 5 yards with obvious struggle. When it came due in the playoffs, yeah, we were toast. Not doing jack against that Carolina defense.

Palmer always gave us a shot to win it. Never felt that way with Kyler. Not once. That 7 game run one year, that's all he has. Practically nothing in comparison.

I never doubted that Carson cared. I can’t say the same for Kyler.

And this is coming from a guy with a Kyler jersey, autographed helmet, figurines …. Crap.

What do you guys do with all your old swag?
Oh I think he cared. I think he didn't or doesn't know that his way of doing things doesn't work.

He entered the league having a HC under his thumb. Not great for long term development.
Please sweet baby Jesus don’t let him go to the Rams.

Nick Wright suggested that's the best place for him to go to as well. Learn to adapt instead of going to MN where he's still probably not a fit and will split reps all camp anyway.

I’m usually on the same page with you but Palmer was better than Kyler.

Palmer was 38-21-1 as a Card with a legit MVP-caliber season in 2013 with 32 year old Fitz, John Brown, and Michael Floyd.

Kyler was 38-48-1 as a Cardinals and played MVP ball for six weeks before completely collapsing.

Obviously there’s a lot of racism and generational angst mixed in.
If Plamer's knees held up, he'd be a HOFer IMHO.

Charlie Casserly is a notorious QB hater that gets it wrong.

Dude said LJack should have been a running back.

Total moron
I think Schrager said Kyler was tanking other interviews for teams that weren't going to draft him.. However, did take the Cardinals interview serious.

Curious how that interaction with teams, personnel (who obviously moved on elsewhere) impacts him this FA if at all.

Daniel Jones would mean no competition right? Tells they want to be out on JJ. It would probably be a comp if they sign Murray though.

Kyler's a better fit with Steichen and Indy (if they want him).

Palmer WON in the postseason
I’m not defending Kyler here, but that defense & Fitz won in the postseason for us. Palmer literally had about 4-5 INTs dropped. That’s when I knew we were gonna ran off the field against Carolina next week.

The narrative shift from K1 was the problem in AZ to the Cards were the problem and held K1 back has started.

Defense- Contain him and send the Ring Wraiths. The Hobbit will: 1) Try to run circles to get to the outside but if you keep edge containment, he will end up getting sacked about a mile behind the line tripping eventually on his hairy feet 2) He can't throw a hot route to beat the blitz between the hashes (hobbits can't see over Ents), so he will throw a screen which you prepare for getting you a loss of three yards 3) The hobbit will freak and just throw it up deep blindly down the sideline

Defense- If one has a Balrog, send pressure up the gut and he is toast because the offensive tackles will get in the way of escape from the pocket

In the immortal words of Gandalf- "Thou Shall Not Pass" with Kyler or "Fly you Fools" and maybe you will have a highlight reel 3 out of ten times
