I'd like to see the criteria they used for those rankings.

Or the date it was actually done. The KD drama helps make that deal look better. If Jalen was still out when surveyed then that lowers things as well.

I understand like 18-22 placement because although this season has been good, can we keep it up and keep it together will be the real test.

Yes, I think the Suns front office has done a good job of assembling this roster. This must be considered.

I give more credit to Ott for his coaching. We have a bunch of castoffs who happen to be clicking. A lot of people thought Royce and Grayson were on bad deals, we have a TON of dead money on the books, no draft picks, and a lot of unproven guys. It's worked but Ott is why it's worked. It'll be difficult to keep this team together going forward though since Collin needs paid, Williams is due for a payday, and so is Goodwin. We'll be right back into the tax just to stay together and no real assets to replace anyone we lose. It's a tough spot. I can't blame Gregory for that but ultimately it falls on him to clean up what he inherited.

I think signing Highsmith was a step in the right direction, looking forward. It still takes a good GM to assemble a roster and he has done it thus far. I want to see how the Suns play after the All-Star Break before praising Ott too much. He needs to reinvigorate the team for the stretch run.

Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis underwent season-ending surgery on Wednesday morning to repair the torn meniscus in his left knee, sources tell ESPN. Sabonis rehabbed the meniscus tear during the season and tried to play through the injury before having surgery now.

Not 100%. Not 110%. But 1000%. That takes a lot longer.

There is a "significant upswing" in speculation that the “NBA hammer” is likely to fall on the Clippers for the Kawhi Leonard Aspiration scandal, per
@sam_amick
“This was a noticeable shift from earlier in the season, when so many seemed to believe that the Leonard/Aspiration scandal might come and go without any substantive punishment being handed down.”(h/t

Enes Kanter Freedom might still help a team. It makes one wonder why he isn't playing in the NBA.

I think it is all the luggage he brings with him. I am not saying I agree or disagree with his views and what he says. Sometimes you just don’t want that distraction or attention.

Yeah, I can see that going on behind the scene, but I never liked the idea of a player being potentially blackballed, if that were to happen.
