30” arms bruh
To be fair, NFL OT'S are gonna latch on to him way faster than these college guys...and when a 320 pound dude with 36" arms latches on to either side of your chest it's very difficult to expel him if your arms are too short to let you gain leverage.
In the league, he is gonna have to avoid the big men getting their hands on him

Carson Beck ain’t no damn 1st rounder man lmao
Maybe not.
But the value of the fifth year of control is worth more than the value between 34 and a third round pick...
It's a just in case gamble..true...but one we will be glad we made if he turns into a valid starter...even if we just trade him.

Also... Beck is the only other QB in the draft that's in the 50 starts range. He has way more experience than anyone other than Mendoza.

Yea but the average age team that’s 24 is Indiana. And how many does it take to make your average 24?
yeah, I only brought up Beck because he's not even in school. and I don't think Miami would be here without him transferring there. It does seem wrong that the average age for Indiana is 24. I think so many people are obsessed with the cinderella aspect of it all that they aren't even thinking about it. CFB definitely needs to be more strict.

Also...everyone says this class is weak...but had he not been injured Beck would have been a first round pick in the 2025 draft...but the injury forced him to stay in school another year.

If he was worth a first in 2025, and all he did was add another NC appearance to his resume...he should still be a first round pick.
Especially if it's considered a weaker class

there's so many things to unpack with that as well. If Beck doesn't get hurt in the SEC title game, Georgia is playing in the national title game vs. Ohio State last year. Beck got injured on a pointless play in basically a pointless game that had very little on the line at the end of the day. some people are saying conference title games need to go.

That right side of the Miami line isn’t looking all that impressive

I think Bain can be a really good NFL player

but the team that takes him has to have a very specific plan / role for him

he def isnt a 3-4 OLB.

Probably a 4-3 DE, but something like Philly did with the Wide-9

His first step looks amazing, but he doesn't seem very fast at all. If he needs a plan, then The Cards will for sure use the wrong plan.
