McCarthy was 49-35 with Dallas, last season he was there he didn’t have Dak for half the season. He left because of a dispute about his extension. We could certainly do worse, and probably will.

For some perspective Bruce Arians was 49-30-1 in his time here.

Sounds like Kevin Stefanski is Atlanta's target with the Falcons retaining Jeff Ulrich as their DC. (Jeremy Fowler)

I'm surprised at the number of people who want Kubiak but hate Stefanski's offense. Stefanski, Petzing and Kubiak are all Shanahan tree guys, and they all run extremely similar offenses.

Yes but Petzing has never really achieved anything anywhere

I understand why we would have no interest in a guy who won over 160 games and a Super Bowl. Jesse Minter would be better.
McCarthy's always been a guy who can take good rosters to the playoffs while consistently hampering his teams with bad game management and very outdated ideas. He's a significantly worse version of Tomlin.

Kliff and Gannon both schooled McCarthy in the head to heads. Remember Kliff forcing McCarthy to burn a timeout by lining Prater up as WR?

Let's face it. We're the farm club for the NFL. The few times we draft a good player, once the rookie contract is up, Mike Goodwill won't pony up the money to retain a quality player and off they go to have a great career somewhere with a real NFL team.
I'm not 100% sure but when the Bidwill's became owners of the cardinals, it was a contributing factor for abolishing prohibition
Patrick Peterson…Larry Fitzgerald….Kyler Murray …budda baker…Trey McBride…Al got paid….

9 HC openings - I think that is a new record
What a great time be looking. Particularly with the rest of the division at its height and Murray looking out.

Bad historical organization
Bad QB position
Supremely difficult division
Most coaching vacancies
High pick in mediocre draft
Unproven meh GM
Not a lot of highly regarded young and up and coming coaches

Great time to be hunting coaches.

They were talking about this on the Bill Barnwell show. The Cards entered what they expected to be a tepid market and suddenly they’re at the bottom of the barrel.

They probably won’t get a guy clearly better than Gannon.

False. As long as the new guy has a fire in his belly…

Barnwell is a dope!
