If the Cardinals hire Jeff Hafley, that would be my highschool quarterback.

To be clear, when I played highschool football (yes, I am going full Al Bundy here) Jeff Hafley was our team's QB.

I have a few pictures of him and I out on the field.

Crazy.

My hometown is already quite proud of the guy. He did it all the hard way.

FYI, he coached at Pitt when Larry Fitzgerald was there. He also has coached against the Cardinals a bunch when part of the 49ers staff.

Who knows what will happen but still crazy to hear it talked about.

I should note, that does not excuse him from getting the proper thrashing that any other coach or sports figure (not going all Mike Stone's girlfriend here either). LOL.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well.

Have a good one.

I thought that was Stone's sister. But I'm old and probably not remembering correctly.

It is great you know him and I am sure he is a good guy.

For me, it would be very reminiscent of the Gannon hire. First time head coach who is a defensive guy who just gave up a rather large 4th quarter lead in a playoff game. Maybe it would work out this time. He is getting a lot of interviews

Poor guy also had a special teams linebacker covering Colston Loveland at the end of the game
