Do the Cards reach the level that Jacksonville did last year where Ben Johnson refused an interview and Liam Cohen withdrew his name until the owner fired the GM?
Was the GM Baalke that was fired? He needed to be let go. I've met him. Complete ass.

Hey, has there been any word on the rest of the staff? Or does the new head coach have the option to retain some of them.

Yeah he was fired and they hired someone who speaks like a tech bro. Granted my opinion is based purely on his speech after drafting Travis Hunter.

I think Daboll checks a lot of boxes. What does Bidwill want to see happen asap? We drafted a supposed generational WR in MHJ & he’s been pretty much a bust. Daboll did everything possible to get the ball to Nabers, while we did the exact opposite with Marvin. Bring in a guy who can develop MHJ. This franchise has to do everything possible to figure out what they may or may not have in MHJ. And while he’s at it, let him work with Kyler too. Even at 3, there are no college QB’s outside of Mendoza that will help this team at any point in time. And the FA QB’s are not a solution.
OMG this is the most predictable post of all time

It is because of the QB situation and the NFC West division.

If I had to rank them...

ATL - because they have some options at QB, a decent roster, and the NFC South is mid.

NYG - I am not a big believer in Jaxon CTE Dart but he is at least a young QB who you may be able to coach away from taking head shots, the roster is good, and the division is not too tough.

LV - You have Mendoza, Crosby, Jeanty, Bowers, and Miler at LT. The AFC West is tough tho.

AZ - The division is tough and you have to figure out QB but the roster isn't awful and has very few bad contracts. The difference between LV and AZ is 2 draft spots which equals Mendoza.

CLE - I think the Titans have a better QB, but I think the next coach will be tied to it more than the CLE gig. You also get to start with some decent defensive pieces.

TN - It probably depends on how you feel about Cam Ward. A huge issue is they have several bad contracts and not much talent. Also, the division is sneaky tough now.
I think the TEN and CLE jobs are better than ARI or LV

From what little I know.
During Michigan's head coach search one of the insiders was informed that the Arizona Cardinals inquired about Kenny Dillingham from Arizona State.

As for what role I do not know.

All I do know is this head coach search could be interesting to say the least.

Who? Kubiak? The Jags OC?

I agree in theory. The issue is that so many of these young, offensive guys are very young and inexperienced. Not every 35 year old can stand in a room of guys and get them to buy in. Not many of these young dudes have put in enough time to develop relationships to build a staff. They don't necessarily understand how to design a travel plan, offseason plan, and manage multiple areas of a team. It's not that it can't work, but it is way more complicated than many give it credit for.
I mean this is literally the AI use case. J/k (kind of).

You have to get a feel for the leadership part in the interview.

I think this is close.

Atlanta is almost certainly getting Kubiak, Tenn apparently loves Nagy, Flores has heard Bidwill is racist from Wilks/added Wilks to his lawsuit Raiders will have a rookie QB, Giants are the best job and get Stefanski.

Hopefully we take a shot on someone besides Smith.
Meh, the lawsuit was well underway when Flores interviewed last time, but then withdrew. He also hasn't gone after other openings the last 3 seasons.

Ten has no talent and has to go against two playoff teams with young QBs and HCs and then the Colts who were very feisty with Daniel Jones. And you have to give cam Ward the requisite try.

Browns are losing almost their entire oline, have no WRs, no QB, and their RB just destroyed his leg. They have defensive pieces but also have Lamar and Burrow in their division.

I would take the Cardinals roster over both of those teams as well as their cap situation.

We have to go against 3 playoff teams. I think we will be a hard sell to top candidates unless MB overpays.

The Cards cap situation is also bad. At least until we get Kyler off the books.

Cam looks like a keeper and TEN also has an all-world interior defender. I think they’ll make the playoffs before the Cards do.

Cleveland’s three best players are head and shoulders above ours. Their QB situation with Shadeur is arguably better than ours. Maybe their owner is ready to keep spending money while also listening to his football people.
