AI is so good but something about the teaser seemed a bit off. I wonder if the origin was real but it was touched up a bit by some source. The text at the end seemed pointless since Evans was featured in it idk.

Man… I saw that trailer before Avatar and thought it just WREAKED of Marvel desperation. Between having to bring back Downey as Doom and now selling Doomsday also as the return of Cap, I’ve got a bad feeling about this movie.

The rest of it was solidly believable
and from the trailer, but that Dr. Doom part was too terrible to actually be real.

no more gallivanting around the galaxy in tights trying to play the hero. Babysitters are expensive and the Stark estate trust aint making personal loans. Plus, who would you trust to watch a baby godling anyway?
The world is in a precarious position. Who will save the planet when death and destruction come calling?
I guess Thor could leave the kid with Uncle Loki,...what could go wrong there? I mean, we all got that ONE brother right?? You just had to try it? He was free, and available last minute?...
But hey, at least your kid learned at an early age that its a bad idea to hustle bikers at pool if you didnt come armed right?? Might have preferred he didnt learn it for another decade or so..but whatever, nobody died and your brother paid all the bail.
Dont even get me started on Cap... how the phukk are you gonna burp a baby super soldier?

So they’re running back the OG’s because nobody has cared about any of the MCU characters the last 5 years besides Spiderman. If they don’t nail this it will be an all time disappointment even if it makes $1B.

Don’t think they really have a choice.
Centering a new Avengers movie around Dr. Strange, New Cap, Shuri’s Black Panther, The Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel, Thor and Spiderman just doesn’t seem all that special.
But bring the OG group back together just wreaks of desperation.
The Cyclops leak is exciting. I would love James Marsden to get to be the cyclops from Xmen 97

It comes down to bad choices in the last phase. Thunderbolts are cool, as is Thor and Spiderman. Shuri was an awful choice--they should have resurrected Killmonger. Mackie isn't a leading actor and not giving him the serum was dumb, and so on.

My main curiosity about this movie isn't Steve Rogers, or multiverse-Downey Jr. It's BY FAR Shang Chi. The one hero they should have leaned on in the previous phase, but ignored.

If I were ever convinced to watch, this would be why. The movie, hero, and actor were incredible.

And the addition of the Awkwafina sidekick brings a whole new dimension of comic banter to offset the seriousness of the situation.
At the very least...give us Shang Chi 2 ....
And maybe have awkwafina build on that archery trope...maybe with a gifted magical bow or something.
I mean, she did help save the world. She deserves more than just a handshake and a smile for her part.
Maybe she could get into some light hearted competition with the new Hawkeye...

Oh yeah… totally forgot he even existed. First 2/3s of his movie were great and despite a weak final act, he seemed to be a pillar to build on. And then he just disappeared from the universe.

The fight on the city bus with Awkwafina driving was one of the best sequences I have ever seen in a movie.
