i was low key mocking the poster who finds different conflicting reasons to go at book all the timethanks for validating my point. try to keep up
no. you're still in a darkness of your own making. i was right about Book 7 years ago and i'm right now, because results, stats, and common sense don't lie
you want to talk stats?
Booker is
ranked 43 in Offensive Plus/Minus
ranked 138 in Defensive Plus/Minus
ranked 39 in Efficiency Rating
ranked 53 in Turnover %
ranked 102 in Field Goal %
ranked 126 in Effective Field Goal %
ranked 163 in 3pt %
yet only 11 players have the ball in their hands more than him!
he's ranked 12 in Usage (Booker-Ball)
and, no, his defense rating hasn't improved
his career average is 115.5
now it's 117.4
the only thing he even cracked the top 20 in is Assist %
rated 20
oh, except salary. He's among the top 10 paid basketball players in history
In today's league, that probably applies to 95% of all players.But...money. The salary Booker makes probably demands even better performance than he's been giving.

but it does make you look like a Booker fan, not a Suns fan, given his miserable stats and crippling salary
my new year's resolution is to be kinder.Book's salary isn't a problem until Ishbia says it is.
happy new year, my friend! i'm here to help, if i can.Dude posts a bunch of stats that clearly demonstrate that Booker is carrying a gigantic offensive load while still playing solid defense... while surrounded by role players and d-league castoffs.
happy new year, my friend! i'm here to help, if i can.
do you think the stats are a misprint, or, if they are unfair, maybe you'd like to add some stats that would justify the expenditure on Booker?
are you a Booker fan or a Suns fan?
technically, you could be both, but you can't really justify bad personnel choices and say your a Suns fan first. I ask because you keep insulting the rest of the team, for the sake of defending one player.
i should say, it is perfectly fine to be, primarily, a Booker fan. There are no rules to fandom, and if it pleases you to watch him play, that's cool. I just think what little you present, and the way you present it, is irrational and a form of denial.
I think we’ve created a situation where we have to trade him. We have no assets at all and he’s the only real thing that can bring us back something.
It’s gonna be damn near impossible to build anything worth something around him.
His trade value is nuetral at this point. Hes overpaid and in decline. He hasn’t been a superstar caliber player since 2022 when he was first team all NBA.I think we’ve created a situation where we have to trade him. Our path to title contention is virtually non-existent, the Durant trade caused that, but trading Booker to a contender for bad contracts and future picks pretty much guarantees pure misery well into the next decade.
So where we are now.
We’re going to win 45-50 games, we’re fun to watch.
Trade Booker, the main benefactors would be the teams that already own our picks, we’d be terrible and no one would want to be here, including guys that are here currently.
We become that team that signs Kyle Kuzma for 40 million because half decent players won’t even look our direction.
Brooks would want out, keeping Allen and O’Neill would be pointless so trade them too, don’t know why Gillespie would want to stay in free agency.
That would be some real fun times.

That’s a losers mentality. Being happy trying to make the play in is the worst possible position in the NBA.
Like it’s been pointed out his value is already falling. Get out while you still can
But whatever
It's historically the Suns Way. A good but not great team that gets to the playoffs regularly but never gets further than the 2nd round. That would be nice, but need it to be a stepping stone, not the way of the world. We've got zero, absolutely zero hope of winning a title for much of the next decade. I'd rather spend that watching a fun team that tries and actually plays in playoff games vs a hopeless franchise that sells off players despite having no pick.
i feel better about the first round pick we don't have this year - thought it was going to be a lottery pick but i feel better with every win while developing fleming and manmanIt's historically the Suns Way. We have no picks... we made an all-time terrible trade when we traded for Durant. This is the result.

We trade Booker during a season where we're extremely likely to make the playoffs, everything collapses. No one will want to sign here, no one of any talent will want to PLAY here. We're the Hornets, we're the Wizards.
This subject is basically moot, because there is no chance that he gets traded, and rightfully so. It would be waiving a white flag and saying "peace out on remotely interesting basketball, see you in a decade!"
