What exactly have they built in 3 years? Does anyone see a coherent vision? Monti deserves as much of the blame as Gannon. He's taken a bad roster and transformed it into a somehow worse roster. How could anyone justify letting Monti choose our next QB?
I disagree that the roster is worse. An easy argument can be made that it just isn't any better other than being younger.

Ya we’ve kept so many drives alive that we’ve stayed in games! F N comical.. also comical is the context that drives stay alive when teams are in prevent.

Get back in your locker.. next!
They will twist anything into JB is better.

It is so funny to see.

Worse in the sense that the overall talent may be in the same ballpark, but the previous regime at least had a young and exciting QB to sell to the fan base. What do you even sell at this point?

Burke is in his first season; Clark is as butt now as he was as a rookie. This is not what “development” means.
And Burke is playing well for a 5th round pick rookie when he stepped inand held his own. Clark, for a 5th round pick has has shown he can stick in the league. That's what develop means. The success of a 5th round DB is 8% in the NFL.

They what you hope 5th round players develop into. Role players who can step in when asked. Stills is the same from thr 6th round.

That’s not what “develop” means. That’s good drafting, not player development.

What does “success” mean in this metric?

Neither of them start as a top six DB in a good defense. Neither of them earned a starting job. Both play for a butt defense and contribute to it being butt.

Also Isiah Adams is a tremendous bust.

Yeah, being at the same spot after 3 years and not building a playoff level team is indictment enough. It just doesn't take that long in this league, unless you're the Cardinals.
I am still pissed at all those posters ripping me and others for being "haters" and whatnot and carrying Monti's jock. Where the hell have all you asshats gone, eh?

These are just uneducated statements.. if a QB is throwing that many times they are typically behind, and behind early. If a defense is up that much, they are in prevent and it is easier to make completions as well as make completions for more yardage.

So if you don’t think the yardage stats would be similar not only for your KDS hate, but any starting quality QB that throws the ball 43 times a game - I don’t know what to tell you.
We get it. You like Murray. Most of us don’t. No stats, explanation, or comparisons are going to change the minds of 95% of the people on this site.
Give it up.

Well one can definitely say that throwing it more does not automatically mean more or the same yardage as another QB in a similar statistical game.

Example: In 2019, against Carolina, KM threw the ball 43 times for only 173 yards...

But yeah, the idea Brissett hasn't run the offense better is "laughable," as is the idea that Brissett's numbers are inflated due only to attempts lol
The offense is just different since Brissett came in. The entire scheme changed. They stopped running the ball as much on 1st and 2nd down, passing instead.

There can definitely be a debate on why the change happened. (like maybe the coaching staff didn't have enough faith in Kyler to run the offense that Brissett is running...) It isn't as though they are running the same offense and Brissett just outplayed him.
