I'm off the bandwagon after last night.

I kid, I kid.

Meh.

The Thunder made a point of making his life as hard as they're allowed to. And they're allowed a LOT. It's the first time he's experienced this in his career, and from a high-level defensive team, no less.

They're scouting him now, so we get to see how he adjusts.

Agree, teams are now starting to focus their defense on him.

There will be a learning curve going forward until he adjusts and gets some more help.

Without Green and Book, it's easy to focus on him. Better to let Brooks shoot than Colin.

Collin is a good shooter. The Suns need more players to spread out the scoring. And Brooks looks to be wearing down.

I don't blame Brooks for breaking down a bit. We need Book and Green back so that Brooks can be the sparkplug again. He isn't ready to be the #1 alpha. He probably never will be, but he can be a really, really good complimentary player.

Exactly. The Suns need their go-to players to get and stay healthy. This will make the Suns much tougher to guard.

The draft is a way to acquire talent on reasonable contracts. Signing free agents flying under the radar is another way.

If the Suns didn't recognize talent when they see it, shame on them. Why is it a lot to ask?

This is what the Suns should be all about with limited draft assets... scouting.
I think while there were some signs in limited minutes last season he had talent. This season, in my eyes he is playing much better than last season. He made a jump in his game in my opinion from last season to this. It is much more obvious he is becoming a core piece this season. They obviously thought he had talent or they would not have resigned him.

They asked him to work on his catch and shoot game in the offseason and it paid off.

This kid is getting better every game. He plays D too, sees the floor, is a deadly shooter, and commands the floor.

He plays fast and is always locked in. No bickering with refs or distracted by other players. His head is always 100% in the game at the moment.

I cannot imagine trading for a better pg for us.

What is bizarre, I think Collin Gillespie is a much better shooter than he has shown.

He misses a number of shots I think he should make and will make in the future.

Yeah agreed…his misses are usually just barely misses.
