Semi related. Saw this yesterday. Talk about a haul. At the time it didn't seem so lopsided either as even Clipper fans were ok with the deal.

What has happened to the Pels. They went from giving us trouble in the early 2020’s to underperforming to being terrible.

I feel like this will ultimately be the story of Wemby. He’s just too tall too many things can go wrong. Surprised his legs haven’t been rolled into more.
Exactly. Name all the notable extra tall and athletic centers in NBA history who weren't eventually plagued with leg or foot problems at some point in their careers. There aren't many, especially as you get into the more recent era.

Calf strains = looming Achilles issue

Or maybe he overcompensates and the other knee goes.

It's interesting to note that ex-Suns "bits and pieces" from the last few years have not done well around the league after leaving the Suns. It definitely seems to speak about our talent evaluation at filling out the roster from about 2020 to 2024.

Yeah I've seen Tyus Jones performance in Orlando dragged a lot already. Some teams focus almost solely on talent acquisition regardless of fit. Seems we had a style of play and found guys to fit the system now.

It particularly raises questions about how former Suns GM James Jones filled out the roster after Mat Ishbia bought the team in 2023.

To be fair, this happens all the time with every team, we just happen to be more intimately familiar with some of these names. Makes it seem like we're standing out, when in fact, we aren't really.
