I mean if that did happen, I wonder what would be the point of continuing to root for this franchise owned by Bidwill
THAT’s the straw for you? Couldn’t we ask this on an almost daily basis for the history of this franchise?

I'm sure everyone here wants the storybook ending to the season.
Kyler comes back from hearing all the negativity while injured. Gets a start in a place where he has never lost a game. Somewhere in the third quarter, right before the comeback rally, he realizes in his heart why he has never lost a game there. We win.
Kyler takes the epiphany all the way to the playoffs, the NFCC Game, The Super Bowl....and for the next five years the Arizona Cardinals dynasty reigns as his new found spiritual freedom inspires Harrison, Benson, Nolen, Robinson, and other young players to all pro and even hall of fame careers.
Then with the help of modern CGI technology they get the great Peter Dinklage to play Kyler in the Lifetime movie.
So let it be written!

What's really absurd about the above is that you think Dinklage has even half the breadth required to portray the incredibly charismatic Kyler Murray. You wish bro!

Understand daves!

And I'm saying post-DAL all of the Murray's detractors will be offering various mea culpas for doubting K1!
I hope he proves the board wrong. But it will take substantially more than a single win against one of the worst defenses in the league to turn sentiment.

Laugh all you want @Stout , I bet you have stats to back up your take and you laughing at my facts.

We have a mid starting QB and an above average backup, but you all want to pretend like JB is more than he is. A career journeyman backup.

I will wait for your stats to prove mine wrong.
I don’t see anyone saying brissett is more than a journeyman backup. Maybe I missed someone’s post saying he’s a legit starter in the nfl, but I don’t think so. I only see pumping his performance as a comparator for Kyler’s performance. A benchmark, if you will. Everyone is using the benchmark of a career journeyman backup for Kyler’s performance. That’s not a good thing for Kyler.

Kurt Warner said it on a podcast a couple weeks ago. But overall you’re right.

1. Okay.
2. People are different.
3. I believe it was George Washington who said "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". Wise words that later we'll reflect back upon. :)

Fortunately people weren't desperately hoping in year 7 that George Washington could finally lead his "team" to consistent victories. He started having success in his second year after a tough rookie season.

Had George Washington failed for 7 straight years then we would have remained a British colony for many more decades.

There are absolutely 4-5 posters that have said based on those two game, JB is a better QB and Kyler should be benched. And the fact that so many won't say it out right is also telling. You, @kerouac9, @Chopper0080 has said it and I respect that. I am no going to call the poster out who made the "JB is better claim", but they are here. And as K9 said, if Kyler plays well the next few games and puts a winning streak together, no one will be talking JB. All I am trying to show who JB is because starting him only helps our draft stock.

Monti and Gannon will 100% NOT make a decision about who to start at QB based upon who will produce a better or worse draft pick. They want/need W's, period. If Kyler plays well over the next 2-3 weeks, the decision becomes easy. Not saying he has to produce W's...but if he plays anywhere close to the way JB has played (which he has yet to do this season), he will likely continue to get the nod the rest of the way. But... if he continues to play the position in sub-par fashion, worse than JB fashion AND the team continues to lose, I would think the boys will feel as though they have no other choice to be place JB back in the captain's chair.

I think you are confusing "JB is a better QB than Kyler" with "JB is playing much, much better than Kyler".

They are not the same thing and JB should start because he is clearly playing better and Kyler has been very bad.

I said JB has been better in this offense than KM has been and it shows that we've seen enough of KM. I never said JB is the future, but he has shown us that KM is definitely not our future. Just too many things he can't (or won't) do to help this team.

You are not in that bucket either. I'd call you out Brian, I've know you long enough to not get in trouble for that. ;) You and I agree on what JB does better than Kyler.

*edit

And your take is fair.

I think JB is a better NFL QB. Kyler cannot play under center limiting his play action and ability to manipulate the pocket and rush. He doesn't throw with anticipation letting our WR's run after the catch. His arm strength isn't any better especially with all throwing off his back foot. He is the easier tackle if you get a hand on him or about to blow him up.
