They haven’t. We had to call a timeout again on a random like second down on first drive.

A lot of it is that Brissett is playing from under center a lot more. About 1/3 of his drop backs are from under center this year.

This might not be 100% overlap, but Brissett has 25 under-center passing attempts and 24 play-action passing attempts.
I thought that was due to something where they thought the clock was going to be re-set and then it wasn't.

Because he calm, cool, and collected. In the huddle, at the line of scrimmage, and in the pocket. Not running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
And he actually watches film and studies defensive schemes, understands offensive play design, leverage, route adjustments, etc. Which is what the WRs do also, so they're on the same page.

Unlike Murray, who's so "gifted" that he doesn't need to watch much film or break down opponents. He "sees so much in his head" - but the WRs are not in his head, so nobody has any idea what he sees or what he's going to do on any given play.

Hence why Murray's most successful plays are broken plays outside the scheme of the offense, but Brissett makes the scheme look competent and effective.

He won’t do it because it’ll satisfy the haters (or whatever) but I wish Kyler would do another interview—even if it’s for his own YouTube channel—where he talks about watching film, how he does it, and where he’s applied the study.

This quote was from four years ago. I don’t blame you for posting it again, but I’d love to know what Kyler thinks about study today or at least have something more recent.

Especially in light of the Caleb Williams quote that he didn’t have anyone to teach him how to study like an NFL QB.

Something for the pro Kyler crowd.

"The Jacoby Brisset efficiency is outstanding. Its not that Jacoby is playing at a decent level and that's so much better than Kyler. Jacoby is playing really well"

"You can see where he is on the chart. He's 8th on the chart for adjusted yards/attempt. That's in line with Josh Allen, Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes"

This analysis is kinda pessimistic from a fan point of view going forward. If Jacoby was managing to elevate the offense with backup level play, then replacing Kyler and making the offense hum would be easy. Unfortunately it looks like Jacoby was playing near the upper tier of QBs these past two weeks (QB play is terrible right now). That is something he won't be able to keep up, his level of play will slip back to being well below Kyler, and something much harder to find from a replacement.

another way to think about this is that the offensive system and personnel are supporting him. 7.83 AY/A is a 1.3 yards over his career average. It’s 2.63 yards greater than his average last season.

Doesn't the fact that there is a debate on who the Cards should be starting, Murray or Brissett, tell us all we need to know about Kyler?
I was going to post this. No one expects much from a career journeyman like brissett. The mere fact that this is even a debate, much less one that two games in seems to favor brissett, is all we need to know about Murray being the wrong answer to question: should Kyler be our starting QB past this season?

I thought wins were the post important stat in football? No?

1-10 vs 13-17 doesn't seem like its the teams we play, but that's just me. 13-17 ain't getting it done either, but let's not pretend like Kyler doesn’t give us the best chance with what we currently have.
The primary failure of your argument is that you’re comparing Kyler to career backups. The mere fact that you’re having to have this argument means you’ve already lost it.

He could be the 25th to 32nd best starter in the NFL.

Probably, over time. TBF in his last 2 games against a couple of good teams he's like 10th in passing EPA per attempt on the season.

The Kyler stans have pivoted from "Kyler isn't the problem, it's not his fault we're not winning" to "Well Brissett might be playing much better than Kyler but where's the wins?"

Kurt Warner says Jacoby Brissett could be a starter in the NFL.

This puts Kyler stans in a bind. They don't want to give Jacoby any credit, but they swear up and down Kurt is right about everything. Hmm...

That would be dope if he showed his x and o's side. I wish he would post those videos he does even when they lose to. Show the real nfl side the good and bad. Him only doing it when they win continues to buy into the narrative about him that his front runner and pouty when things go bad
