Next play, throws an uncatchable pass to a wide open Mike.

This pass is all wrong, this shouldn't be a high floated pass, this should be fired in to the open man breaking down the sideline.

This is the first 3 and out drive at the start of Q2. All on Kyler.

not a great throw but Simmons hit him as he threw it. The weird thing on that play, and the announcer called it out right away, is the way Mike reacted. He stopped and jumped instead of running through the play. If you look where the ball ends up if he runs through he has a much better chance of catching the ball

Sure man, 95% of the board is wrong and you and your 4 buddies are right.
"The Board" loves Tip Reiman (instead of actually getting real offensive talent), the oline is top 5, and thinks that the defense is actually good.

I am ok with being right (calling the exact opposite from above since the off-season) in the realm of "The Board".

I'm not sure what Kyler sees here on his 1st read (which is Zay Jones) that makes him think "Nah, I'll check it down".

Actually, I think he's too busy staring down Trey and completely misses Zay Jones on 2nd watch.

Pittsburgh, PA--Enemy territory!
Demercado with the biggest brain dead move I have ever seen
Specail Teams showing they are special again
The Defense kicking the ball into the endzone for a tuddy
BPB calling 3 runs in a row and punting

This board gives no credit to K1 in wins and all the blame for losses so far this season.

Its comical to say the least. Meanwhile the national media is calling for coaches to be fired.
Name one poster saying Kyler gets all the blame. I'll wait.

Nah he didn't EZ angle shows Simmon still a yard and a half away. Mike ain't catching that unless he's 9ft tall.

Throws off his back foot constantly because he's scared of contact. Imagine him playing RB...he would go into fetal position as soon as he got to the LOS.

Just ass

Two wide open guys. Doesn't even see them. Too worried about getting touched.

I don't have EZ angle whatever that is I just have the video you posted but from that. Ball Still in hand Simmons much closer than a yard and a half(that's about 13 feet you realize?) about to hit him. If you roll it forward the ball is coming out as Simmons first makes contact.

That was the play wehre on tv the announcer complained about the call on the defense saying it was a good play within 5 yards. If you watch the replay he literally tackles the guy Kyler wants to throw to I think it's Trey. Runs right into him and knocks him down. How the announcer can complain that's a bad call is beyond me

Also if I remember correctly the reason that play was a do over is DeMercado at the end of the play for no reason grabs the defender and gets a flag. It was a free play because they hit Trey early and we get nothing out of it because Emari made another dumb play

The balls like 3ft over his head and behind him. He had to stop and look back for it as it sailed over him.

I mean, that's a thread saying Gannon said Tip was a key part of the running game. You probably should have read it.

This is where Kyler’s physical limitations come to play. Hernandez(?) gets his ass whooped quickly, but a bigger/taller QB is still able to get that off.

Him wanting to throw the 5 yard check down to Trey without going through reads is the problem. Add on the fact when his first read is gone he just wants to run instead of looking for more options.

oh I 100% agree. I'm just saying he's clearly closer than a yard and a half and he clearly impacts the throw. Brit has a habit of exaggerating things when he doesn't have to, which is a bad habit when he's literally posting video that people can use to show he's exaggerating

I;m fully ready to move on.,

Hell I already have 2 theories on what happens next year. ONe is we get Mac Jones, who's mediocre but at least he'll hang in there and take the hit to get the ball off. My worst nightmare scenario is we trade Kyler to Cleveland and get Shedeur in the trade.

If I had to bet I would think Cleveland is a really likely landing spot for Kyler given the apparent friendship between Drew and Stefanski. The Jets make sense too.

The ball is already out of shot before Simmons touches him (he's still not touched him here).

For sure Kyler's ass cheeks clenched with the pressure but that's the problem with Kyler. Any other QB just makes the pass and takes what is coming.

I didn't say it wasn't a problem I didn't say a thing about the decision on that play I was just pointing out the announcer said that was a bad call, it clearly wasn't, and that Emari again screwed us over on that play he cost us the first down by grabbing the defender

That makes zero sense.

BPB is going to trade the QB that he believes is no good to his mentor?

He's just so indecisive or slow to process. Marv is open here, it's what the play was designed to do, but Kyler delays and misses the window.

Better view from the EZ angle.

(I'm not sure Kyler can throw this pass, he's known to be bad at throwing anything moving lateral).

Even the announcers mentioned how it was up to Kyler to take control of the situation while everything was going haywire and lead the team out of it. What we got was him throwing the ball away in complete panic to not get hurt, not jumping on a fumble. Not saying F you to the OC for calling a run on 3rd and 8 to seal the game.
