BJ I.R.Julari
I dunno man...I actually recall seeing Nickedglass play football in our uniform.
Upside? He's an "Eh, let's hope we can salvage something out of a 2nd-round pick" player. Expecting anything but a body at edge is crazy. Anything you get out of him at this point is gravy.
He was drafted hurt and we were told "give him time to heal." Then he got hurt. Troy Nickedglass is indeed an apt comparison.
Wait until you hear about Brandon Aiyuk, who tore his ACL 2 weeks after BJ, most likely is not going to play this year now.14 months post surgery, and not even healthy enough to practice. Incredible.

Yeah,........but when those beasts get in theeeeere.....Zero starts from Beej and Elijah Jones combined
No no no...it's the HOF talent in front of them.Yeah,........but when those beasts get in theeeeere.....
You are right, I remembered wrong. My point remains. Aiyuk still is unlikely to play this season. Every player heals differently and all injuries are different. The Cardinals refuse to be transparent with injuries and it leads to way too much speculation. Just like with Kyler, he was practicing and reports were he was ready weeks before he played. Based the player, not the person. What in the world are you talking about? Aiyuk tore his ACL in WEEK 7 last season on October 20th. BJ tore his ACL the first week of training camp, August 2nd, a full 12 WEEKS BEFORE Aiyuk.
And Kyler was squatting 300lbs 13 weeks after his surgery and still didn't coming back until half way though the season. There is a clip of Jonathon Gannon when he is miked up for the Carolina game. Ojulari is right behind Gannon and is jumping up and down after a good play. He sure looked healthy in that clip. Who knows what is going on?
I don’t see any recent news confirming that. Maybe you can cite your source since you’ve already been wrong once on this topic?Aiyuk still is unlikely to play this season
John Lynch must be a terrible source there. He does have 155K followers, so I assumed you'd accept his word. He said he is no where close to being ready to see the practice field.I don’t see any recent news confirming that. Maybe you can cite your source since you’ve already been wrong once on this topic?
I don’t think there’s much precedent for a player under 25 taking 12+ months to come back from an ACL injury. Like not even being able to practice. Crazy stuff.
San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch made news Thursday when he said wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was "not close" to returning from the knee injury he suffered in Week 7 last season.
The quote made rounds and indicated that there may be some issue that keeps Aiyuk out well beyond the vague Week 6 timeline head coach Kyle Shanahan gave during the preseason. Shanahan on Friday was asked about Lynch's update and provided some clarity on Aiyuk's return timeline by saying there's nothing firm in terms of weeks until he comes back.
Okay. He’s not even 12 months removed from his injury and last I checked the season is 18 weeks long. We’re 22% of the way into the season.John Lynch must be a terrible source there. He said he is no where close to being ready to see the practice field and there is no timeline for his return.
I assume you have insider information as to the severity of these players injuries? Please share then!
Now you are just arguing semantics of "no where close" and "not close". You win! I am done! Bash on injured players and be that person. I am out on this, it is gross.Okay. He’s not even 12 months removed from his injury and last I checked the season is 18 weeks long. We’re 22% of the way into the season.
Do you know what “nowhere close” means to John Lynch? Because I don’t pretend to.
Lol… what? You came at people who are confused at what’s going on with BJ with snark, trying to gotcha a bunch of posters. All I did was point out the facts you put into the discussion were way off.You are right, I remembered wrong. My point remains. Aiyuk still is unlikely to play this season. On a side note, why are you always so aggressive? I made a mistake and admitted it, but you always come out guns a blazing. Its just football.
Who’s bashing on injured players? You’re playing whataboutism and are mad you used false facts. Maybe Aiyuk is out for the year; that would suck for my dynasty league. But you’re out over your skis. Now you are just arguing semantics of "no where close" and "not close". You win! I am done! Bash on injured players and be that person. I am out on this, it is gross.
At least Monti got MHJ over Nabers right.Who’s bashing on injured players? You’re playing whataboutism and are mad you used false facts. Maybe Aiyuk is out for the year; that would suck for my dynasty league. But you’re out over your skis.
I wish Ojulari and Elijah Jones weren’t complete busts, but here we are today. I don’t blame those kids. I blame Monti.
I just think it’s beyond stupid that Bidwill tried to sell how dominant BJ is when the radio guys pressed him why they were sitting on so much cap room in the offseason.Who’s bashing on injured players? Bidwill is an idiot. He told fans the Cardinals weren’t as broken as everybody thinks right before Monti completely stripped the roster.I just think it’s beyond stupid that Bidwill tried to sell how dominant BJ is when the radio guys pressed him why they were sitting on so much cap room in the offseason.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he weren’t back until after week 10; if San Fran isn’t in the playoff race, they could shut him down altogether.I've seen plenty say Aiyuk won't be back until late in the season.
hes a troll. You are right, I remembered wrong. My point remains. Aiyuk still is unlikely to play this season. Every player heals differently and all injuries are different. honestly at this point I think it would be nice to just KNOW or receive some sort of update from the organization on BJ and others. I think thats what is so frustrating.Almost have to wonder if he had a botched surgery/needs another one? This recovery timeline is crazy. Hate to label him a bust- but what else can you call him? He is year 3 and has barely seen the field due to injuries- this team is officially moving on
