The called play was another flea flicker tho

I guess maybe he didn't see it but I can't be the only one surprised that Benson still flipped that back to Kyler? they had a double CB blitz on and both guys came through clean it was so dangerous if that flip gets bobbled, and Benson didn't do it clean, that could have been a defensive TD so easily. I really wonder if Kyler wasn't yelling at Benson no just run it but apparently not.

As that one review of it said that's a lottery win for the defense the absolute perfect defense to call for that play.

And the scary thing with TWO CB's blitzing if you watch that play not only did the deep route not get open, the only route that was open was underneath in the middle.

That's the worst flea flicker I've ever seen

You should probably go back and read the thread because you are lost again.

Dude, you argued against someone saying that we should swap Kyler for Burrow and two 1st's by arguing that Burow had done nothing in years, couldn't elevate the Bengals and was made of glass.

Those were literally the freaking goal posts.

This once again is a dumb convo.. Burrow is a superior QB by far, but if we are talking about missed games this will now be the 3rd season out of only 6 seasons Joe Burrow has played less than 10 games. Kyler Murray has had only 1 season in 7 seasons where this has happened.

Another meaningless, post by Brit “He Pegged Me” Card

How does it matter how they are split if the percentages are the same?

Is playing 9 and missing 8 over two seasons somehow worse than missing an entire season? Explain.

This is the first passing play of drive 4. This drive was a 3 and out.

I'm putting this one up for 2 reasons. Firstly, for Isaiah Adams who completely takes the wrong angle on his block and F's up the play.

But also there's a moment here where Kyler has to decide to throw the ball to Trey for a nice chunk of yards, or curl up in a foetal position before he's sacked, and he chooses the later. This is the difference between a mediocre QB and a good one.

You simply don't see any other QB in the league turtle like this.

I just don't get it at all. Next play, 3rd and 7.

He just bails right away. No pressure. It's not a designed run because there's only Mike running a go that side. I have no idea why or what he has in mind. Even if your bailing for no reason don't bail that way, there's nobody but Mike there. If he just wait a second he can hit Marv on the crosser.

If you're going to do it at least try to hit Mike on the go who does get past his man, give him a chance to try make a play.

But no, just run OOB behind the LOS on 3rd down.

I just can't make sense of it.

Next drive, the drive that eventually ends in the INT.

Another example of the different between a good QB and a mediocre one. NFL defenses don't give away deep shots. You have to take opportunities like this.

I want my QB to know from the coverage (or just see on the field) that the CB is going to bite on Trey and let Mike go. Yes, there's a safety there but he's a good twelve yards away. Good QB's make these plays and don't check down from 9 yards behind the LOS for a 4 yard gain.

(Seriously, it's an issue how deep Kyler's drops are)

Is this from the YEET school of quarterback mechanics?

is there a gm out there who thinks it's us and not kyler? that's my saturday question - doesn't have to be this week or this season but eventually

and if it does take a long time how do we keep kyler's value up? we can start by not benching him lol - we can find an oc that let's kyler kyler - i don't even know what that is anymore tho - he's got the brain funk just as much as marv does

I don’t think there’s a GM out there who thinks that Kyler can be a top eight QB but I’m sure there are guys who look at Baker/Darnold/Geno/Dimes and say Kyler’s highs have been greater than any of theirs—why not us?

Pittsburgh
Jets
Cleveland
Minny (for Russ)
Naw’lins
Maybe Carolina
Maybe Houston?

Thoughts and feelings about GMs this morning. :Dold

If they ain’t firing a craptastic OC like Big P Brain during the season they ain’t moving K1 anytime soon.
