A good guy but fiercely protective of Mike and the Org.
the issue for the local market is:
98.7 broadcasts the games and 100% understands there are lines they cant cross. They have no real radio competition.
startups like PHNX 100% need the access to survive -- so they only a little more independence than 98.7
the local paper is a shell of itself.
Local broadcast news is also at a fraction of viewership.

In 2022, Bidwill allegedly called Neuheisel and asked her to go to his home “to open the doggie door for Charley.” As Neuheisel tried to follow Bidwill’s instructions, Charley bit her. According to Neuheisel, Bidwill “watched the attack on his home video surveillance system,” then called her and blamed her for being bit. He also, allegedly, “mocked and laughed” at her."

Its so pathetic that we don't have really any great options for sports media in such a large city.
you would think with the fact that "Paper" is rapidly decaying that those guys would lean back into hard hitting legit journalism to at least have the niche of being the crew that does the job instead of just farming clicks... but papers are trying to transition to digital instead...
It would be so nice if good old fashioned newspapers took a stand and started demanding real journalism...
as for the digital crap...it hits so fast you dont need an inside source...just subscribe to the tweets of the guys that have those sources and you can still have an article out on a topic an hour after it happens.
these days everyone in journalism is more focused on being fast than writing truth.

back in 2012, my brothers and I "kidnapped" our Dad and had Mom pack a bag for him, flew out to Canton on Thursday, toured the Pro Football HOF on Friday, then flew to Atlanta on Saturday and went to the Cards-Falcons game on Sunday... where of course we lost, but even the L couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces. That was one of my favorite weekends of my life.

The only bad part about Josh Sweat's game in AZ is his snap %.
Yeah I'm really not a fan of all the rotation. Your best talents (unless age limited) should be playing minimum 65% of snaps and giving Burch more snaps than anyone at edge is malfeasance.
