One guy on Miami that you have to appreciate is Jaelan Phillips. Dude tor his achilles in 2023 and then his ACL last year and is back out there making plays. weird start to his career, told UCLA he was retiring, then ended up at Miami, but you can't question his determination now

He seemed so creative a couple years ago, but now it seems every other play is a swing pass to Achane or a WR in the flat. I know he's trying to protect Tagovailoa from having to hold the ball too long, but... blecch!

Man every play he looks to throw to Achane and the one time they blitz and Achane is the easy open on 3rd and 5 with a chance to get the first, Tua holds the ball rolls out and just throws the ball away.

now THAT was a cool play throw the ball short and he backwards passes to Achane to get 10 yards so they had a makable 4th down

He actually knows how to draw good pass routes tho and scheme his key players open. Not his fault he has an average QB
