Suns still need to lose $23-24 million to get under the second tax apron?

I think it is doable. Dump Grayson on the nets somehow. Dump Cody Martin and Nick Richards. That should do it I think.

It's the "somehow" that is the snag without taking back salary and minimal assets to attach.

I'm hoping the Suns have an agreement with Bradley Beal to get them below the second tax apron yet be in compliance with the CBA.

He likely would have to take significantly less money than he could on a buyout.

Then again, maybe the Suns have a plan we haven't thought about.

I don't see why. He should have value to other teams. Maybe we get next to nothing from the Nets, but they should be able to flip him somewhere else for a profit in terms of a pick or maybe a couple of young raw players they want to develop.

I don't know, Flex still thinks we are going to be able to trade him without any draft kicker. I don't think he is making that up.

I think it may be a deal with Chicago and we will have to take the garbage Patrick Williams contract. I don't know he also hinted Atlanta - I find it hard to believe they would move Trae for Beal but that seemed to be what he was indicating was possible, although he didn't out right say it.

I wonder if new defensive enforcer Dillon Brooks has had any notable success guarding Shai (sp?) Gilgeous-Alexander. Might he be the Shai Stopper?

Certainly, he is the Phoenix Suns' most aggressive personality since Raja Bell.
We are so far away from competing with the OKC’s of the world that Brooks being able to guard Shai is pointless. The suns focus should be geared towards the future. WHAT’S NEXT in the NBA is all that matters, not what’s now.

If Flex is the source, I want to see something in writing.

If that happens build a statue to Ishbia right now. Lol. Trae is horrible but god that would be laughable

Lol... Flex. He'll say anything to get clicks, apparently. Its more likely we could trade Beal for a flux capacitor equipped DeLorean and travel back in time to before we ever traded for Beal in the first place.

It's scary to think AI is being used as a source of information.

Suns GM Brian Gregory talks on Burns & Gambo, Arizona Sports.

He considers this a great first step.

Glad he acknowledged the first step part. They really couldn't have made better moves post KD trade. The direction makes sense and it appears there's a method to the madness.

Flex actually says very little of substance for how much he talks and types. Most of it is vaguery that he points back to when something happens as if telling us he is hearing things or stating obvious facts that are guaranteed to happen are prophetic. He also slobbers all over every move the Suns make.

This team needed dogs and we got some IMO. There should be absolutely no excuse if this team isn’t much tougher than we have seen the past two seasons.

Guys. I have been totally away from the Suns for nearly a year. Just was not interested in a mediocre team with KD. Anyway. What's the point guard situation?
