You mean if every pick works out? Ok - that isn't likely to happen.
You can say that about any pick traded or not traded.

Also, they are predicting that Proctor is the higher rated player and less likely to be there at 41.

So Fleming is basically the 5 2nd rounders in the KD trade.(I suppose the 41st pick could be included as well).

So Green , Brooks, Maluach and Fleming for KD (basically)

Gambo is saying the Suns have been working on this all day to move into a position to get Flemming. A friend of mine I am texting with right now says he loves Flemming but sometimes he falls in love with the 3 too often like Marion used to. He still loves him though.

He really does look promising.

He moves like Kuminga - not quite as good an athlete, but pretty good. Better shooter though. I think he should play well off Book and Green.

I think the flurry of moves helps make the case against James Jones stronger. It's pretty clear to me that he hated the draft. He essentially said as much a few times and now we are seeing Ishbia sans Jones and multiple moves to load up on young talent.

I really don't want Lanier, he's another 6'5 shooting guard. He does shoot .395 from 3 though.

rasheer is a power forward - and he'll only get more powerful which should theoretically equal rebounds - lfg - ish fan club starts now - always had faith in this guy - executive schmecutive - ish got this - manager schmanitor - ish knows what we need - between rasheer and maluach ish just put up 14 feet of defense - probably 16 foot wide? that's a tremendish stupendish heck of a haul - ish ishn't messing around - he's on fire - he can't mish

ESPN is projecting both Chaz Lenier and Tyreese Proctor will be gone by the time the Suns draft at #41.

Seems like them moving the 2nd round to a different day helped out.

Assuming that ESPN is right and Chaz Lenier and Tyreese Proctor are gone and the Suns don't make another move, it appears the Suns are after a guard at the #41 pick. That would leave:

Alijah Martin, G, Florida
Hunter Sallis, G, Wake Forest
Javon Small, G, West Virginia
Koby Brea, G, Kentucky
John Tonje, G, Wisconsin
Kam Jones, G, Marquette
Sion James, G, Duke
Micah Peavy, SG/SF, Georgetown
Jamir Watkins, SG/SF, Florida State

Immediately after Brian Gregory was hired, I gathered that various people considered him a Lance Blanks-like empty suit who got the GM job because he's a Michigan State alumnus. Based on the Suns' draft performance, this is untrue and unfair.

Next highest rated guards are Watkins, Brea, Peavy and Small after Lenier and Proctor according to ESPN.

I wasn't sold on Gregory but was overjoyed James Jones was gone. Maybe Ish learned from his mistakes or maybe Gregory was judged too harshly. I don't know how much credit to give the Michigan State alum but I think they both earned some leeway moving forward.

Yes, that's my read, too. I think we probably have Jones to thank for our piss poor draft capital for the next five years.
