We picked Nash at 15 and Booker at 13. So, there is some hope at 10.

Will we now be able to package players?
We picked Dragen Bender at 8 and Jalen Smith at 11 - so there is that as well.

That wasn't his market value, necessarily, since we know other teams were offering much better deals. Durant made his team list known, which gave those teams extreme leverage in offering crap deals. Durant really screwed the Suns over by doing that.
He screwed us coming in and out. Impressive.

He can be streaky but he is very talented, young, and years away from his prime...
He has a chance to thrive here IMO and gives us something to work with that parallels the true timeline of what it will take to fully undo recent transgressions.

I also think that Book will be traded at some point and will be the main catalyst of the rebuild.

The Suns must believe Jalen Green has the makings of a star if they keep him.

I'm not one of those trade Booker fans, although at some point in his career it may well happen.

If there is not a player the Suns absolutely love at #10, I can see them trading down for more picks.

Also, they will be looking for other trades.

This is how they restock their cupboard.
Oh, so now that we didn't get any decent veteran players you are now on board for a rebuild using late 1st rounders and 2nd rounders huh?

The way you act if Ishbia said he was a genius evaluator and he had decided he could find all the all stars we need from the G-league - you would buy into that too.

Well.... I figured I would hate it and I was right.

My guess is that Brooks is gone before the season starts for a ham sandwich and some lemonade.
Why? Brooks fits the new grit and grime paradigm.

Lousy deal. Should have played hardball. Are they really that stupid that they plan on Point Book?

Unlike Allen.... His reputation is well deserved as an a-hole agitator.

And on a team with 20 win possibilities, a winner looking for what he brings to the table will come calling IMO.

Possibly Orlando. Maybe even the Pacers, Knicks, or Clippers.

The Suns can rebuild with veterans and draft picks at the same time… like walking and chewing gum.

This is just the start of the off season.

Well my folks just sent me a tweet that they are looking to reroute Green to another team.
In that case I'm obviously hoping for some draft capital but I am very content with him being a piece for the future as well.

I don't want to necessarily trade Book (he has been very loyal) but I think he's suffered enough and may request a trade within a year or so.

The 10th pick is/was our pick, so we did get 1 of the 4 picks dealt back.
You know he meant the 27 or 29 picks they own. He just called him the worst GM in history, he obviously expected more of a return for KD as would anyone sane.

There has to be a follow up deal, Green makes no sense to stay here.
It makes a little sense if Booker is getting traded - but only if you actually believe Green will somehow develop into a good player, which is highly unlikely.

Gambo just knocked this down.

I don't know what he meant. When presenting an argument as to why a deal makes someone the worst in NBA history the details matter. It was a bad trade but I wouldn't say it now makes him the guy who is off to the worst start in NBA history. I can see the case where he was off to the worst position in league history when he was hired based on what he inherited as far as a depleted and bad team with virtually no positive assets.
