Thanks for the info, I know he was nursing some kind of lower body deal at the combine, hopefully he puts up a good time. Will be real interesting to see what it is. He has a great burst, but I have also seen him get run down from behind.
im hoping skat sucks balls tomorrow - less interest the better - i honestly don't care about a 40 time when it comes to this dude

I don't either, because his footwork in traffic at LOS is gonna be his money maker...his ability to get 6-10 yards when needed and move the chains.

he did average 4.6 yards a carry (only 63 carries) -- and thats with a 11 carries for 10 yards in week 2 in the mix
I know about the numbers. But his impressive plays were rare rather than routine. Behind a fairly good run blocking line and a run-friendly scheme.

Again, I was excited to draft him. But watching him just left me kinda “meh.” He’s not a bust, but I didn’t find myself wanting him on the field in lieu of Conner.

Agree. It was very much of "the same" Benson didn’t add the extra element of excitement I was expecting...
But...maybe that's just our offense

the one thing i will say for benson - but this is due to his lack of pass blocking - is defenses knew benson was likely getting the ball when he was in there - not the same for conner and demercardo

The coaching staff should be lining him up with rushers starting 3-5 backs and have them come at him over and over

We did this even in high school

Teach him the technique and ingrain it in him

This isn’t high school back in the old days.

Cards should just do the Al Davis draft for speed on offense. Golden in round 1, Treyveon Henderson in round 2. That would instantly make them one of the fastest offenses in the league.

I see Skat as a Pacheco type back with some pass catching upside. I think Conner could fall off a cliff any minute so I wouldn’t hate it in the 4th rd but a team will fall in love with him earlier than.

I’ll believe the T-Mac slide when I see it on draft night.

The 4.6 is too slow. He's closer to Clarett than Trey Benson in the 40. Doubtfull that he' be able to break tackles at the NFL level like he did in college. Guys are too much bigger, stronger, faster. The NFL makes fast guys look slow. What's it going to do to a slow guy?

I would love Henderson in round 2 for the Cards. I seriously was going to have the Cardinals draft him there in my last Mock Draft but had them go for Jackson from OSU instead. Mainly because OL was a much bigger need and RB is such a deep position this year that the Cards could find a good one later in the draft.

I personally believe that Henderson will end up being the best RB from this draft class. i have a feeling that the Cowboys will target him in the second.
