My guess is that he plays a utility role at some point this season, and then takes over at 3rd next season (assuming he doesn’t suck out loud when given a chance this season).

That would be an awful waste of assets. Basically the Swanson / Miller trade all over again.

You don't trade a top 10 prospect in the entire MLB unless you are getting a superstar. Clase is the only reliever out there that would make sense here.

I think Perdomo ends up at 2nd or Lawler plays 3rd. Marte has DH in his future, especially being a switch hitter
