What is funny is that Drake Maye has taken a terrible situation to a potentially great one. Plenty of cap space. QB. CB. 2 DTs. Some ok linemen. Some young WRs. Vet TE. NE could easily draft Abdul Carter to play next to Barmore, White, Gonzalez, and their Ss and then let Maye lean on a good defense. Buy an offensive line in FA. Get some vet Wrs and fill in the rest.

The NE front office structure is a little odd, but Kraft does want to win, and you are no longer following Bill.

1) What a dumpster fire this organization is.
2) This is definitely a move to get a higher-quality head coach, since someone with juice might want to bring in their own guy. Vrabel seems like a good organization-builder.

I'm pushing hard for Vrabel to lead Raider Nation.
With Harbaugh, Payton, and The Walrus in the division...their best bet is to double down on defense and tough hard nosed football.
Vrabel is the only guy available that brings that blue collar toughness the Raiders used to be known for.
He would be a huge get.

Obviously they disagreed.



Plus, why have to fire 2 guys when you can make the GM fire the coach first...then only have to fire the GM... firing people suxx

You want a top candidate - you have to do it.
You want a mid to bottom candidate (like Antonio Pierce), you can keep your current GM.
